No entertainment on the xmas eve or xmas night
Easy access to beech, shops etc
Uncomfortable beds, ignorant staff (unless your Spanish) and scruffy dated rooms.
The hotel in general was excellent, access to the beach was through the back door, and it was accessable to the majority of the ameneties within the central area of Roquetas de Mar, including many bars of which some served alchohol on a 2 for 1 basis.
My only complaint against the hotel was that on my initial arrival in my room I could smell stale urine. It turned out that although the usual "sanitised/cleansed label was over the toilet seat, someone had used the toilet previously and not flushed it. The maids should have picked this up, when cleaning. Apart from that, I could not, and will not fault the hotel ! ! !
Pool area and staff
The quality of food offered could have been better but there was plenty of choice.
Useful as a base to explore the area of Almaria, Sierra Nevada, and Granada.
Although the week was booked as Half-Board, we actually avoided meals a number of times, evening especially, and went elsewhere. Some of the food left a lot to be desired, and unless, like a lot of the older generation did, you formed a queue to wait for opening times to get the early portions when fresh it was not worth bothering with generally!
