Pros:The hotel was clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I slept in for a long time, including the pillows. Nice hotel. Great location. A CVS across the street, a couple of restaurants within walking distance (steps away) including Olive Garden. Hotel stay includes breakfast, choice of toast, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, coffee and juices, as well as fruit and muffins. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Nice, friendly staff. Rooms had a mini fridge included and coffeemaker. Parking and wi-fi also included! Air conditioner wasn't loud at all, I can't remember it, that's why I know it wasn't loud. Rooms were pretty large and comfortable. The hotel location was nice and close enough to the GA400 to be convenient. Don't hesitate to stay here!
Cons:At first I was assigned a room next to someone playing loud music. I barely walked in the door and walked right back to the front desk. I asked to be moved somewhere quieter. Problem was easily solved. The rest of my hotel stay that week was quiet. Guests were normal and relaxed.
Pros:This hotel, which has been there for years, appears to be recently renovated. The lobby was bright, clean and inviting. My room was huge and very nice - and spotless - with a couch, desk, king sized bed, etc. The staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was just OK.
Cons:I was on the first floor and you could hear a LOT of hall noise. The HVAC unit worked well, but it was noisy. Bathroom towels were a bit small.
Pros:I liked that the room was clean and its close to everything you might need. What I liked about the room itself was the TV. It was a 42" I believe(big enough) and had all the channels that I like with like 5 HBO's so that was nice. The extra tall ceilings made the room feel bigger than it was. Also the bathroom had a jacuzzi tub.
Cons:What I didn't like was the bed wasn't special and it had a throw blanket wrapped in a pair of sheets instead of a comforter. I could have enjoyed the TV more if the lady at the desk would have let me use the remote for it so I could use the apps that were installed on it. ie.Netflix, FB, YouTube, etc. The first night maintenance had to program it and he used the factory remote (instead of the Comcast remote) so I know they had it but she said no its not there and wouldn't look for it. The thing that got me the most I think was the first night I went to sleep very late and wanted to sleep in so I put the "Do Not Desturb" sign on the door. Around 8am in the morning there was a loud knock at the door which I ignored but to my dismay housekeeping let themselves in the room. I asked if she saw the sign on the door and she acted like she couldn't understand english and left. After that she went to clean next door and left the lock in the closed position so the the door wouldn't lock when they went in and out of the room. The problem is that it bangs very loudly against it when it closes back on it. I suggested that she fold an outdated magazine up and slide it under the door to prop it open so I could go back to sleep with no more banging going on. She said oh well I'm almost done I don't have time to find one to do that and went back to her duties. Needless to say I did not get back to sleep after all that, I was awake. The next night I went to bed early( as I was tired from not much sleep the night before) and another housekeeper let herself in the room to "giggle the handle"of the toilet. Very entrucive and activating at the very least. I won't stay here in the future there's too many other hotels in the area for the same money that would love to have my money.
Cons:Lipstick on a pig. It would have been nice if i didn't feel like i needed to sit by the window with a shot gun to watch my car. The neighborhood was...ahem. Even just parking lot lighting would make a huge difference. A hundred decent restaurants within walking distance, but you wouldn't walk in that part of town
