Clean and good bed
Friendliness of staff.
The bed was a little too firm for my liking.
Clean, comfortable and friendly staff.
Clean, updated room, friendly staff.
WiFi sucked. It was slow and had trouble connecting to it.
Nice restaraunt, quick check in/out service.
Friendly staff, convenient location, access to a lot of restaurants
I really liked the pool options for our kids. We are in the restaurant which was also good. The band was SO good at night!
The bed and pillows are great! Very clean rooms.
Housekeeping knocked on our door before 9 am and we were still getting ready for the day and packing. I do believe checkout was at 11 am and we called the front desk at 9:45 am to check out over the phone. They really should wait before knocking on doors
location and cost
location is awesome the people that work there is amazing
the hot tub wasn't working but other than that it was perfect
Location - we were visiting a college 15 minutes away in St. Joseph so this was very convenient.
All the good looking women
Pool water could be a little warmer
Plenty of amenities
They still have smoking rooms and the hallway smelled of smoke!
We booked the hotel so my teenager kids could go swim and play basketball but it was sooooo busy with parties in nearly every poolside room they couldn't do any of that. Waste of a stay. Would have rather stayed at my sisters for the holidays.
Everything!! Room was dirty. Bathtub moldy & hair on the floor. Found a wrapper from soap still left on tub from last person yuck! Candy was under bed for who knows how long! So busy too many people cannot enjoy amenities. Don't stay here!!!! Dirty!!!
Staff at the restaurant was rude and the prices for breakfast were very high.
I like the fact that a newspaper arrives at your door in the morning. That is very nice
The associated restaurant was not good. The good was mediocre and the waitress was clueless. This is one of the few times I truly contemplated leaving absolutely no tip.
They have two nice pool/hot tub areas and an indoor volleyball court.
Loved the room and all the amenities
Legends bar closed early when we planned to stay there until closing. Had to go somewhere else to drink.
Beds were comfortable
Pool was cold and too deep for my 7 year old. Hotel outdated. Free breakfast would have been nice.
Easy to get to. Right in the middle of St. Cloud.
Long upstairs hallway.
Was placed in a smoking room without asking preference and was unable to change to a non smoking room. I didn't know that there were still smoking rooms in 2014.
The hotel had a nice fountain outside.
My non-smoking room smelled very smoky and was likely recently converted to a non-smoking room. The room seemed dirty, though the linens were clean. It took 3 hotel keys to get one to work. Overall I was not impressed with this hotel and would not go back
great location with many restaurant options nearby.
We assumed they had a free breakfast but should have read the details closer. We ended up in a smoking room. I will remember to ask when checking in next time.
The bed was comfortable.
All the pools and hot tubs were brimming with screaming children. We thought it might settle down after 10 pm so we could use the pool but it didn't.
This is a strangely laid out hotel, older too. It's not like the newer holiday inn express.
It's not what l expected the room was too small l have gotten bigger room for lower price way better
I guess the bed was okay but it felt dirty
Overall the hotel and my room we're dirty. The bathroom shower curtain needed replacing and I found hair in the shower. They tried to put me in a smoking room then I asked for non smoking but it still smelled like a smoking room.
It was easy to access local restaurants and venues. They have a lot of pools so you are not on top of other guests.
It could use an updating.
It was right off the highway and easy to access. Plenty of parking spaces.
The drain in the tub wasn't fully sealed. I could hear water drain out as I was soaking. There were skid marks in the toilet and mold on the upper portion of the stool, under the lip.
Bathroom didn't feel clean and the shower drain didn't work.
room was in the basement across from the laundry -- LOUD
The walls were paper thin, I could hear a girl on the phone in the room next to me. I was expecting an actual Holiday Inn but this one was franchised and was a remodel of an old hotel. Not impressed and would not stay there again.
The outside landscaping.
The shower head had rust / lime build up, extremely dirty. There was a shower mat in the tub which appeared to have dark spots similar to mold. The fire sprinkler was all rusted in the bathroom. The cleaning ladies didn't get around to the rooms until 4PM
Noisy bar at night. Very worn, dirty walls, doors, unkept.
Since Priceline offers no elements in the feedback survey on their own performance, I'm using this box to provide two comments on Priceline's system. These have nothing to do with the hotel. 1) I overlooked the choice on smoking/non-smoking for the room and ended up with a smoking room. Priceline should default this setting to non-smoking. The staff person wouldn't change the room without paying a fee which I refused to do. 2) For xxx, I could have had a much better hotel than the Holiday Inn at xxx. In St. Cloud, there were two distinct clusters of hotels differentiated by price point/quality. I could see the price spread in Google Maps and assumed that Priceline would select one of the better hotels for thexxx price. I was wrong and won't let Priceline choose for me again.
The bed was confrontable.
The check in staff was very rude. Rolled eyes when asked what door to go in, then was told incorrectly, the door we were told to go into was through the conference area.
The entry and it ended there.
A lot! The room was small, the ceiling low, (7 foot - I'm 5'8' tall and could easily touch the ceiling in the bathroom) This facility was rated 3 star and should not be a 2 star! There was only one electrical outlet in the room!
Upon arrival we were put in a smoking room moved us new room was dirty ..stains on floor and bed bathroom was horrible
Checking in was a breeze, the front desk staff was very helpful. We found the room in very good shape and clean, as were the commons areas. We did not order room service but looked at the menu, breakfast was a deal. The only real issue was the limited electrical outlets. My colleague and were in town on business and both needed to be on our laptops when we returned from a long day. We also needed to charge our phones. To do this we had to unplug a light and use the outlet in the bathroom. The desk lamp had a single plug in, I suggest upgrading to a light with more outlets.
This Holiday Inn had a business feel compared with family friendly.
This hotel was great as far as convenient location to shopping and restaurants. Also had fun entertainment in the lounge while I stayed there. Pool area was set up nicely for families.
Had a very pleasant stay. Booked on very short notice, had a nice, quiet, clean and comfortable room. Food at the Holiday Inn Cafe was excellent, nice pool. Staff was very friendly. Would stay there again
We stayed at this hotel when our son visited St. Cloud State University. It is a really fun place which appeared to be hosting many different events. That being said, our room was quiet and we were not disturbed by all of the activity. It appears to be a great place to bring a family or host and event with plenty of fun things to do to escape the winter.
