Amazing location! I had a perfect view of the sunrise over Mackinaw Island, and right on the water.
The room itself was a bit dated, but still clean and nice. For the price it was perfect, but I was traveling off season. If I paid the premium I'm sure they charge in prime season I would have been more put off by these things.
The view from the balcony and the breakfast was so delicious
No informational binder or book in room to tell you what to do around the hotel.
The view of the lake and Island was amazing! The beds were super comfortable!
No microwave in room
St. Ignace, MI, is a good half-way stop over for us on the way to visit my son at school.
My wife smelled mold from the moment she entered the lobby. The room we stayed in had cobwebs present in the corners and dust build up in the bathroom exhaust. The breakfast area was over crowded for the number of rooms at this location.
Everything was very nice!
When I checked in they asked if I wanted an upgrade to a suite for an additional $10.00 per night which I did and was very pleased with the room. It was a lakeside view and had a Jacuzzi in the room. The continental breakfast was also great.
The grassy area to walk to the shoreline had seagull excretions everywhere which I am sure is hard to prevent.
They charged me extra for my daughter.
Great location & beachfront.
room was stuffy but we turned on the air & it was ok.
The view from our room, the convenience of the location.
Warm in the hall and elevator. The bathroom was kinda small.
PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE FREAKING SEAGULLS. :-) This should be said to all guests at check in. Our first morning, after a very late arrival, we were awakened by screaming seagulls who were being fed by rude guests who were laughing and yelling at 7 a.m. :-(
Small room. Noisy. AC struggled to keep room cool.
The Location and the view.
When I checked in I was requesting for a room with better view of the lake, although the rooms are available the front desk lady told me, all the rooms are booked. How can one book a room with room number, as I know those rooms are not occupied then.
Bathrooms does not have exhaust, hot water mixture does not work properly
Friendly, helpful staff. My room (411) had a great lake view. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Seriously, no. The best I can come up with is that the fresh apple selection was less than appealing to me.
View and the balconies with chairs
Breakfast was terrible and dirty both days. Balconies were dirty and looked like never cleaned, pool small and no microwaves in rooms.
I did not like that the breakfast bar did not specify that the eggs were filled with cheese. Also, getting charged and blamed for stealing a pillow that I did not steal ruined the experience.
