Breakfast was great and staff were very helpful.
Bathrooms were too small!
Nice enough place - nothing fancy but very comfortable. Nice warm room, decent buffet breakfast. Staff very helpful.
Little bit far from the old town, which is the main tourist interest. 15-20 mins walk.
Peaceful and quiet base for exploration ... and near all places of interest
There was extremly smoky in the room.
cosy, the hotel staff were outwardly helpful but not terribly friendly (perhaps a cultural thing? I have been told about Salzburg in general) Although we asked for another bed, the nite staff did not prepare 1 and brought in pillows ( twice) only after 10pm although we checked in ard noon. Close to railway station. Although claims to be within city, it seems to be at the edge of the new town but certainly still within walking distance of the main town centre.
beds were old and soft and the pillows were so flat it was about 3 inch in height! Need to use 2 at a time. The WC and sink/shower was curiously in separate compartments which was rather inconvenient as one had to walk out into the bedroom before one enters into the sink/shower room.
