Nothing extraordinary but everything was good, clean beds, good tv reception, internet connectivity; clean restroom, shower worked good.
Little black bugs were crawling on the bed.Not clean
When I arrived the room smelled bad and there were cockroachesin the bathroom.
Hotel is old and run down. Bathroom not very clean, towels had stains. Back side of hotel is against railroad tracks with my room being approx 20 yards from railroad crossing gates...a rude awakening late at night. Breakfast was offered but I was gone before they began serving so no comment on quality.
The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The sheets looked dirty. I would not recommend this hotel.
The bathroom sink got clog on my second stay they never fix it until my last night there I got a call from manager to move to another room which (what for) I had to wash my mouth at the bathtub because the sink was clog and stinks.
This hotel is very run down and not very well kept. I would not recommend it to anyone.
I was expecting more then what I received. One of the reasons why I chose this hotel was becasue of the pool and spa option. They were both murky and disgusting looking and the water levels were low. The house cleaning service was tardy and seemed to take all day. Our towels were taken sometime in the morning but were not replaced until the room was cleaned which wasn't until after 4 in the afternoon. I had a ground floor room and one of the curtains was broken, so, the shade didn't close all the way thus allowing anyone passing by to see inside. The only time that the staff was friendly was when I was checking in, after that I felt like I was getting dirty looks. It did not put me at ease. I do not recommend this hotel.
When I walked up to the front desk to check in, the guy was rude and cussing. There was another customer waiting to get checked in. He was complaining about not having time to eat because of that ''b****.'' He told one of the other employees to go see what she needed now. The room we reserved was ''non-smoking.'' As soon as we walked thru the door, it smelled of cigarete smoke. The sheets and towels were dingy. ( I guess they don't know that Clorox was invented.) Check out time was 11am. We had housekeeping knocking at our door at 945am. And returned every 30 minutes to see if we were out. We felt rushed. The hairdryer did not work. Upon checking out, there was no one at the front desk. There was a sign stating they would be back in 5 minutes, I then proceeded to write a note. The same guy from the day before came in and asked what I was doing. I told him I was writing a check out note. He said'' Why? Didn't you see the sign that said that I would be back in 5 minutes? I was very disgusted and offended. Never Again will I stay here. If you have to stay in your car or in one of these rooms, choose your car!!!
This truly was a 'Good buy' from travel website. I had a great room that was very clean, close to my meeting place, close to good eating places, frinedly staff. I felt very safe and got a good night's rest. Had a good, free continental breakfast. I highly recommend this motel.
the deskclerk told us it would still be awhile before the rooms would be ready, we told him we had a wedding to get ready for in a couple of hours and the deskclerk seen my husband was on a walking cane and needed to rest so he went and found out if the rooms were ready and the maid had seen there was reservations for these rooms so she had cleaned them first so we were able to get on into our rooms. The room was very clean, the towels were thin ,Even though the motel is on a busy street we could not hear the traffic and the bed slept real good. We would stay here again.
the people were nice, but my room had a dead bug when i first walked in the room and later more bugs came throughout my stay. the air conditioning had rocks in it. it was not nicest neighborhood. lets it is the ghetto.
Even though the staff was friendly, they could not make up for the structural short commings. There was no alarm clock in the room. The light paint areas made it evident pictures had been removed from the walls with no attempt to re-paint. The breakfast featured old, hard scrambled eggs, a few sausage biscuits and burnt bacon. Overall a rather shabby motel.
The hotel is old and could use a face lift. The room that we stayed in had not been cleaned, grass on floor bathrrom dirty. I would not recommend this hotel to any one.
