Interior appearance and decor were luxurious and beautiful. Location was very close to river walk and the Alamo .
Room did not have a viewHotel was excellent although one of the elevators was out of order the whole time we were there.
Very convenient location.
They did not come clean the rooms...thank goodness we did not get our rooms dirty.Regardless, other than the non cleaning of the rooms we had a very pleasant stay and the hotel itself was great.
Just cheap price from priceline
Be careful with the water bottles in the room. Only one is complimentary while other is $3.50. They charge for everything wifi (10 /day) breakfast (13.50 pp ) & parking (23.50 to 30 per day).Next time save money and go to another place because here they nickel and dime you on everything. Everything is extra. Room service isterrible and it takes a long time to arrive. Self parking is far and it takes long walk.
The location was great and the stuf was very helpful.
The price was very reasonable.
The public parking was located across the street and was nearly as much money as valet parking.Overall the stay at this hotel was good. The room was clean, although not very well stocked. There was no fridge in the room (a real bummer). The bathroom for our room was an ADA style shower, so the bathroom as a wet mess and required 4 or 5 towels. I would not recommend this type of room unless you need the access. The pool and gym were decent and clean. While this hotel is on the river walk path, it should be clear that it is several blocks from the core 'Riverwalk' area. Getting from the hotel lobby to the walk path required travel over a city sidewalk and there were vagrants and drunks hanging around nearly every time we walked out, so it did not feel super safe. All in all, for the price it was fine. I would stay there again for the price, but would choose a different hotel more in the middle of the action if I ...
Location is OK
service; room cleaness1. Priceline did not inform how much extra fee and tax will be added to the bid price and the details with regard to the fee during my bidding. 2. I asked for a crib when check in, but no crib showed up until I check out and left. 3. Bathroom basin clogged when I first used it which make the water drain extremely slow. 4. My wife was disturbed by a discussing worm creeping in the tub when she was about to take a shower. 5. The pipe in the wall has a loud noise when water running which make sleep in the night become impossible. 6. Vent on the wall gave out irregular noise sounds like switch being turned on and off repeatedly. I guess it's time to say goodbye to once loved priceline.
The staff were friendly, accommodating and responded quickly.
Deceptively named 'Wyndham Riverwalk,' it is NOT on the Riverwalk, but rather a few block desolate walk to the festivities. The hotel staff were SO nice, and the entrance is inviting at this (not on the) Riverwalk Wyndham. When we realized we didn't have two beds in our room and our son was with us, they offered to move us or bring a rollaway, which they did VERY quickly. The hallways and doors are kind of weird and look like offices, but everything was nice and clean. We were miffed that it was actually several blocks away from the Riveralk, despite the name, so just be aware when booking.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Maids neglected to clean the bathroom. The location is on the riverwalk, but a far walk from any riverwalk activity. The hotel is very nice, the room was nice, but the maids neglected to clean the bathroom.
Room was very clean, spacious, and the bed was corfortable.
Had to insert the card key 10 or more times to open the door.Great location. Clean, spacious, and updated room.
The staff! They were exceptional in handling concerns I expressed about the initial room assigned to me.
Although located on the Riverwalk, it is not necessarily central to downtown museums, restaurants, and points of interest as I originally thought. I was traveling by myself and therefore proximity to these places was of utmost importance. The hotel lobby and reception/concierge areas are welcoming and renovated, unlike the room floors. The original room they had given me was unkept, smelled like mold, and there was no bathtub nor regular shower. The furniture was old and did not feel nor smelled clean. The staff was wonderful in changing my room almost immediately. The second room I was given was better, although it is an old building and it could benefit from serious remodeling. The beds were really comfortable.
