The room looked just like the pictures. It was clean and quiet. The staff was polite and helpfull. They even gave us a map and pointed out all the local hot spots.

All good!

The price was good. I would stay there again.

We were treated rudely. Charged $45 for a bed cover. Denied our second reservation for our sons that flew down from AK to join us for their sisters wedding. The price was too high considering the accommodations. I will not recommend this hotel.

I liked the spacious rooms. They were clean & comfortable. The breakfast was great.

I didn't like how you had to pay $40/night for parking. That is so expensive! I didn't like how you had to pay to watch TV or use the WiFi. I had to ask the hotel staff 3 times to get 2 extra towels for the room.

Even though the price was reasonable to book the hotel, they nickel & dime you once you get there. I didn't like the location either. It was typical downtown with bums everywhere. And if you want to do anything near the hotel you pretty much have to walk because once you get out you have to pay for parking everywhere else and the lots are usually full anyway.

The view. The room was larger than your typical hotel room which was needed as we had two teenage girls with us and needed space for a roll-a-way bed.

Too many little kids. If you are not traveling with little kids this will probably not work for you. The pool is extremely loud and there were at least 10 to 15 kids in the jacuzzi at all times which is pretty much capacity so adults cannot enjoy.

It is on the bay so you do have to drive to the beach. The remote in the room did not work so we had to change chanels and volume on the TV manually. They were very busy. Kids everywhere and we actually did not even attempt to use the pool area or jacuzzi as there was no seating available. Check-in was at 4:00. We arrived at 2:30 and our room wasn't ready until a little after 4:00 and the staff just kept saying they were very busy and completely booked.

Location was great... it's 10-15 mins away from other attractions in the area and amenities at the hotel were good.

The decor looks dated and some furniture was worn. My dresser did not close properly and the mini fridge door was jammed and also smelled. Parts of the bathroom looked new but some fixtures like the toilet looked old. At least, the bed was comfortable.

The hotel property itself is nice, centrally located, and the staff was terrific and accommodating as you would expect from a high-end brand. However, for the price I would want a room that doesn't look like a cheap motel room. Hotel fees and parking fees are rather high though similar to others in the area.

Floors were dirty, outside was very dirty specially around dumpster area, stunk. Drug use was heavily around hotel, seemed to be more run down than I can remember from last visit. Great location, just need to work on cleaning the street patio and sidewalks. Spilled drinks and garbage everywhere.

Location.

The listing and confirmation indicated that the room came with a balcony which I consider the primary feature in an oceanfront room. This room had no balcony and the main window overlooked the parking lot in the rear of the hotel.

The view from the main window included trash dumpsters and trash piled along side the dumpsters.

Room finishes were at least 20 years old. Had cigarette burns in bathroom. Kitchen had been painted over. Room was smoked in obviously. The shower control knob was not connected to the wall so you thought it was going to break off at any minute.

The hotel was nice with the Marina so close and the location was centrally located if you have a car.

The staff was somewhat helpful but the fee for parking was extremely high when there was no one enforcing the parking situation and they said that it would let use have a spot at our room which it didn't. Also housekeeping was pushy.

The resort fee is not worth the fee for them not providing anything special. They just need to increase the nightly rate and not charge a resort fee. They did a lot of kids events at the resort, but the kids event they did was immediately in front of peoples room and in the morning we had someone in front of our room doing activities and it woke us up.

We had the deluxe room and I suppose for the area we were in, the room was a decent size and the bathroom I thought was a bit small. The room had most of the necessities except for a microwave. Coffee provided was very good plus they had Splenda!

Internet was a joke! We were always getting disconnected, reconnecting took a lifetime, and speed was agonizingly slow. Parking was extra! We heard front desk tell 3 different prices to 3 different people. We ended up getting free parking.

We stood in line for at least 20+ mins waiting for clerk to give us change for laundry. There seems to have been a lack of available employees to help staff front desk. Also the door to the bathroom would not fully shut-it would pop open. For a supposed 3 star hotel I was disappointed. I do not think this hotel should be rated as a 3 star.

The pool was nice, and the other residents were friendly. The courtyard is nice.

This is an amazing hotel! Beautiful surroundings and amenities, huge pool with cabanas and lounge beds with umbrellas. Rooms are spacious, clean, and have balconies you can take a chair onto a sit and relax. And complimentary 'enhanced' water in the lobby

Like all other San Diego hotels, this one charges for both parking and internet access. Just comes with the territory, but it adds almost $30 per day to the cost.

There is a decent-sized shopping center with a Staples store, a Ross Dress for Less, a Sports Authority, (to name a few) and several places to eat within easy walking distance of the hotel. The much larger Westfield Mission Valley Mall is a two-minute drive away, with theaters, 70 or 75 stores, and about 30 amazing food choices. If you can't find what you're looking for in these two shopping centers, you probably don't need it. The hotel staff, from the parking valet attendants to the front desk staff, to the housekeeper all greet...

Good room and good breakfast selection. Although Airport Hotel is in the name, you never are awakened or bothered by plane noise. For one star this place is great.

The a/c wall unit was extremely noisy. We had a room that could join with the one next door and you could hear those people so clearly at night. I wish they had something to put by the door jam to diminish the noise.

Overall, I cannot complain to much. We had a good stay and would stay again in the future.

The staff was helpful and polite. Glad there was a safe in the room. For the free breakfast there was waffles if you wanted and the usual pastries and cereal but also boiled eggs, yogurt, and apples so pretty good considering it was free.

The bugs in my room and no bath vent just a window. The cleaning staff left my windows (ground floor room) open every time they cleaned not very secure in my opinion. However when I asked her to keep them closed she did do that just shouldn't have to ask.

They could have used a plug at the table for devices used there. The toilet leaned into the wall which was awkward. Otherwise the bed was reasonably comfortable and the free continental breakfast was pretty good considering it is free. Basically we use this hotel as a place to relax and sleep when we weren't out exploring the town. It worked ok for that.
