I was very much pleasantly surprised with free WiFi, free continental breakfast; free cheese, snack and even wine at 5 pm. Wow! room was fine, clean, bed good, etc
Not really. service/staff was excellent
Convenient location, low cost (for San Francisco), nicely maintained public areas.
Internet access so slow it is virtually useless. No coffee available before 7:00 am. No gym or workout facilities. The public areas of the Beresford Arms are beautifully maintained, but unfortunately my guest room had seen better days. Shabby dinged up furniture, a bathroom that looked like it was cheaply remodeled in the 70s, and an overall threadbare feeling. Clean, definitely, but just old and worn out. The in-room wifi internet access was so slow and erratic that it was useless for anything serious like checking business email. Although there is a free light breakfast, which isn't bad for the prince, there's no coffee available in rooms or the lobby before that. Wake up early and want a cup? Sorry, you'll have to wait until 7:00 or walk a few blocks to Starbucks (it opens at 5:00). That said, the Beresford Arms is a clean and nicely located option for budget mind...
just a very nice feel. nice service, nice
apparently I should have been looking for 'free parking,' not just 'parking.' However, the experience in a very nice place that didn't charge much outweighed the $27 fee per night for parking, since we only stayed one night. We absolutely loved the feel of the hotel and the location is great. A little loud from 12p-3a with the window open, but we didnt' have to keep the window open.
Staff were courteous and helpful.
No wifi in room or lobby.
Location, location, location! PM wine and cheese.
NothingOlder building but just fine. Walking distance to most high end stores and resturants. Good time
The bath tub was amazing
The tenderloin crept closer than would have liked, however we felt safe.
Close to union square. Morning breakfast. Rooms are kept clean.
No air conditioning and fan is very loud and noisy. Area gets a little sketchy late at night. Wifi signal very poor, barely worked. TV is so old and outdated.
The staff went out of their way to make our stay very special. The free continental breakfast as well as the daily wine and cheese happy hour was a very nice touch. The room was spacious and clean. I will be staying there again in the future.
The hotel is a little dated but it has a great deal of character to it.Great hotel, especially for the price. Very helpful staff that have that personal service which is hard to find these days.
NoExcellent location, well maintained, extremely friendly staff
