The staff was m
This is more like a motel than hotel. It was clean, but weathered. The furniture and finish was economy when it was new which was some time ago
The location is good.
The front desk person was a trainee left alone and unable to fulfill basic functions of their job. The room was loud and stuffy. Our original room had no functioning windows or air conditioning. Several dead birds outside locked window. After an hour at the front desk we finally got a better room. This motel is extremely noisy. Don't plan on sleeping past 7 am as all doors open into a courtyard and slam as guests leave.
I liked the location.
I didn't like that parking at the hotel was $35 a night. It would of been nice if it was in the description. Parking was a rip off.
The thing I require the most from a hotel room is silence at night time. With this hotel it was pretty good. I had a room towards the inner courtyard and you can hear people chatting or walking outside your room but you don't hear almost anything from the streets. This means it's silent most of the night. The weather was such that I did not need A/C or heating much but it sounded too loud to be left running over night to me. The hotel room was also very tidy and the staff was helpful. They also fixed my wall-plug adapter for me when I had trouble with it.
Nothing much here, you could hear other people from outside your room through the wall/window. No sound from adjascent rooms, though.
The bed & sheets were clean & comfortable.
The room size itself was super small. They can also do away with the stylish chairs, there was simply no room for it. Maybe replace it with a posh cube chair that stores under the table a lot better
Staff was rude
I had a large comfortable room. The BART terminal was very close. I think I would always stay here when visiting San Francisco.
The room was really comfortable.
The acoustic insulation was not satisfactory. I could hear another guest playing loud music early in the morning.
This hotel was clean and the room was spacious and the furniture was modern and nice.
The location of this hotel is the worst part. Actually it is located on the 7th Street which is between the two more notorious areas of SF (we were told to avoid walking on the sixth street and the areas above and under the 7th street are also unsafe). These streets are full of homeless people and during the night is a bit scary. These streets also smell funny. SF is wonderful and really worths visiting but we wouldn't stay to this hotel again due to this problem. The reception staff wasn't helpful either.
yes very much, the beds were very confortable and staff was wonderful. colorful and happy place
the design. The restaurant isn't bad
Too much noise at night, Somebody would have to tell to some guests that its not permitted to be chatting on the terrace after eleven o'clock. The town, Soma, its not as safe as we wanted. Dangerous at night.
