Outside garden and beach front
Poor ocean view, uncomfortable beds
the beautiful common areas. Access to the beach.
Very expensive food and drinks.A very nice hotel all in all. staff was great. room was nice. Very open feeling in the lobby. nicely decorated for the holidays. recommend guest to find different options for food and drinks.
Excellent pool and ocean-front area!
Four restaurants and some stores onsite, but not many choices in walking distance outside of the hotel for eating and shopping.I would recommend this hotel. Staff was friendly, rooms were nice and clean. The pool area and ocean-front area are excellent. It is a large area with palm trees, hammocks and a very large pool with different levels and a swim up bar. Great ocean views and a nice cove with a beach area. Reasonably close to Old San Juan. Nice place.
The customer service, especially its concierge staff. Maria Castano was very helpful with everything we asked her. From general information to places to visit to restaurants, she showed us what customer service is all about. Thanks, Maria!!!! We love you!
The elevators were defective. Also, the resort fees are high compared to other hotels with similar services and stars. Similarly, the prices for drinks and food are too high. If they lower prices, more people would use the restaurants and bars. The staff was awesome. Everyone there made us feel welcome. We are grateful to the concierge staff, especially Maria Castano. If you need anything, ask her. You will be glad you did. From places to visit, directions, excursions, restaurants, she is the one running the show, and luckily, she is the sweetest person on this planet. Thank you, Maria!!!! We Love you!!!! There is no public transportation, so taxis are the only way around unless you rent a car. T...
wow. would be hard pressed to find an answer for that one. wish i had more than 250 characters.... the property was beautiful...
see above. mold. staff walking into a room with a do not disturb sign on it.....what else?...dirty room. mold in bathroom. staff walked in my room while a 'do not disturb' sign was hanging. unfortunately, i was not dressed at this time and by the time i got to the main pool the next day i was the butt (literally) of the staff and their jokes....
beautiful location, great amenities
the restaurants were a little expensive.it was truly beautiful-- everything about the hotel and the location was great.
Loved the room and the views. The piña coladas were delicious (inside not as much in the pool bar). The location was perfect and yet privacy within the hotel is maintained.
The hot tub was not hot. It was only heated. Also I wish the pool area would be open a little later. It closed at nine, but at least we had cable tv or a nice nightlife on Old San Juan to turn to.
The hotel bar staff were terrible. Very unfriendly, never refilled our water or asked if we wanted another beer. Had to hunt them down for the check. Construction everywhere and the elevator was down.
Beautiful outdoor space
Very long lines and not enough staff to handle guest needs.
The public spaces like the pool and lagoon were really nice. We liked the wildlife that was around. They have a large turkey on the property that appears to like people. That's something you don't see. Ever.
The areas of the tower are somewhat dated as well as some of the rooms could use some general maintenance and updates. It appears that they are beginning to renovate the tower though so that will spruce things up. I still think we got a great value. This hotel was very similar to the Hilton in Waikiki I stayed at a couple years back. The public spaces outdoors were immaculate and the interior spaces are somewhat dated. Small fit and finish items kind of turn you off like carpet bunching up and drywall dust along the walls. You could tell this was 'the' place to stay 10 years ago. With a little work it could easily get back to the status previously associated with the hilton brand. We paid a little over a hundred a night to stay he...
