The Don Fadrique Hotel is a traditional family run establishment which combines the services and facilities of a big hotel with the intimacy and personal attention of an Inn. The hotel is an extensively remodeled 2 storey villa style residence located in one of San Jose's most upscale garden areas. The area is quiet, safe and central. The hotel is known for its lush tropical gardens which displays a wide range of local flora-orchids, bromeliads, helaconias, bananas and palms. Seating aorund the fountains provides a popular area for Al Fresco dining. The hotel is also home to one of the countrys finest private collections of contemporary Costa Rican Art. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown, most museums, restaurants and shopping. All rooms are spacious, well lit, and tastefully decorated in soft tropical colors. Rooms also come with large windows offering either a view of the gardens or the central mountain range.
