Everything else but the tub was amazing. The bed was comforting and the staff was great. They really are just super friendly and very welcoming. I would recommend staying here. It's affordable for what they offer.
You can easily notice that they used like those dry wall putty things to fix tares in the tub. It really looked dirty than upkept.
Hotel was lovely and staff was very nice and friendly. Would recommend.
Friendly & helpful staff, comfy beds, nice linens, clean rooms. Relatively quite. Conveniently located near convention center, stadium.
Expensive for a remodeled motel. Difficult-to-find front office--shared with IHOP entrance. Also hard to find light switches in room (looks like IKEA lighting). Awful lighting over mirror. Teensy exercise room.
great location to great America and close to all good restaurants
comfy beds with lots of good pillows
far from good restaurants, outdoor access to rooms, limited pool hours
This is not a three star hotel, and yet, I paid $170 a night to stay here. Hotel is about a mile from the conference center, but unless you're at the Hyatt (connected to the conference center) or directly across the street, you'll want to drive so the distance isn't as relevant. Nothing worked how it was supposed to. Bathroom from 1997, check. Shower knob that is impossible to use unless you put your back into pulling it out, check. Damp smell because you can't even open the windows, check. Lamps from Office Depot (genuinely, I have similar lamps at my office) that give you a feeling you're in a doctor's office, check. Shoddy paint job, check. I booked through Priceline, which was a mistake. I refused to spend my last night in this hotel, and when I called Priceline they supposedly called the hotel and claimed the hotel wouldn't refund my last night even though the quality was so poor. Similarly, the hotel said they wouldn't refund my last night because of Priceline. Long story short, I decided to eat the cost of spending the night somewhere else to avoid yet another day in this sad, sad hotel/motel. This is an $80 hotel, not a $180 hotel.
