Not your typical hotel, it is a resort in a residential area that's more like a bed and breakfast.
We checked in super late at 1AM, shower didn't work, barely a trickle coming out. When I called front desk, it was directed to somewhere else, and they could not rectify it till morning. Very unsatisfactory when you want a shower after long 15 hr drive. This is a bed and breakfast! It is not your typical chain hotel which I was not expecting from the descriptions from priceline. The place is in a residential neighbourhood that is nice and quiet. It is very unique New Mexico-esque buildings. The rooms were clean and some of them even had wood burning stoves (ours had a gas fireplace that did not work) However if you are looking for a different place to stay to explore Sante Fe New Mexico, this would be it. The BEST Part about this stay was the included Breakfast, it was homemade omelettes of your choice or waffles, with an assortment of drinks, plus ot...
The staff is terrific. The breakfast is also a standout. We never have stayed in a hotel that provided a custom latte drink as part of the breakfast experience. The lattes at Las Palomas are excellent. Room was good sized with a fireplace!
Our room - Pueblo section (#53) - has very uncomfortable chairs, one of which was falling apart. One of the venetian blinds was broken and could not be opened. The bathroom vent also did not work well.We would stay at this hotel again given its character, location, and excellent staff. I think it would, however, be advisable to check out the room assigned before accepting it.
The hotel was amazing! Didn't feel like a hotel at all but our own personal apartment. Decorating was authentic but not over done. Incredible free breakfast included. Omelets to order, waffles, fantastic food!
The only fault I could find is there were no blinds in the bathroom just curtains. We absolutely loved this experience! The staff was so friendly, the room clean and inviting, and the breakfast was fantastic. It was not the typical continental breakfast. The hotel was only a couple of blocks from the square. We really loved our stay!
N/AGorgeous place to stay when in Santa Fe. Extremely helpful, clean, and accommodating. Beautiful rooms and environment. Amazing breakfast.
The location, the style of the room, the breakfast service
There were a number of minor things that could have been improved on or taken care of better. For example, the coffee pot in the room did not keep coffee hot. The temperature of the shower was hard to regulate. However, these inconveniences were minor.
Location, charm and 'Santa Fe' character were outstanding! Hot cider and warm cookies at the front desk were appreciated, as was the delicious made to order breakfast.
The room did not have blackout curtains and a security light shined in all night.I would stay there again, in fact I think this is a great place to be close enough to walk to the Plaza, but far enough away to be very quiet. It is a very charming and romantic place. The rooms are huge but very cozy.
The uniqueness of each room and the little pathways leading to of the rooms were great Breakfast in the morning was very nice.
Great location, delicious breakfast, friendly people...
great check in staff and breakfast, great location to plaza, staff helped with dinner reservations. fireplace in room great
dirty room , ceiling fan had dust piled up on blades, cieling beams full of dust, floor full of grit and hair by base boards, mattress to small for bed frame , was sinking through
Within walking distance of everything in central Santa Fe...we didn't use the car at all. Also, the breakfast (included) was first rate.
Because it is an older, historic structure, the roof popped and creaked during the night. We are not used to that sound. This is the first time we bid for a room on priceline, so we didn't know what hotel they were going to select for us. It turned out to be a gem for the 3 stars assigned. Very historic, very Santa Fe. Not a cookie-cutter highway hotel at all. We liked it!
