It was older but well maintained. It had a covered pool, so travelers in the winter could enjoy it, too. The breakfast choices were much more extensive that I had expected: a variety of juices, cereal & hot items. Even Bigelow teas!
No. I loved it all.It is very well situated. Close to the highway for easy access and close to downtown. The bus stop was not very far away, either. And it was close to Jackalope, one of my favorite guilty-pleasure shopping experiences.
The location was excellent and we wee just minutes from anywhere we wanted to go!
The towels in the bathroom were harsh and thin!It is a very basic hotel and you get what you pay for! The staff was very helpful at check in and throughout our stay!

Pricing for the room.
Location is in south Santa Fe which I learned is not the safest part of town. The room was adequate because I did not spend much time in it. It was clean and the hotel itself was quiet. I liked that they offered complimentary breakfast
Price was right.
The in-room vault did not work. The room was not properly cleaned, and towels were not left. The key card expired before we checked out. The TV was difficult to operate. The staff didn't seem to care.

The staff took care of noisy party at midnight. Prompt in dealing with the noise complaint
OMG! The bending was FILTHY. On my second day of the stay no cleaning really happened just making of the beds. The blanket was so dirty there was NO way I was letting that touch any part of my anatomy. Sheets had 'stuff' on them.Would not recommend this hotel. Stay farther out at another motel 6 or pay the extra $25 per night and stay at the hotel next door. Very disappointed and will NOT be staying there again

Funky, charming, comfortable old time motel. Extremely reasonable. 10 minutes from the Plaza.
NoA touch of the old west in decor. A John Wayne triptich, a spurs toilet paper holder are among the 'touches' in the room. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast adequate. This is a real find in the Santa Fe area.
Very nicely accented with southwest/western themes with historical comments.
Bathroom was a bit cramped, but it fit with the retro look.Very friendly staff and helpful with Santa Fe points of interest.
