accessible from highway
microwave in room did not work. hotel was damp smelling
Everything was great. location was perfect!
location was great.. the staff was very friendly. breakfast was actual food not that frozen fake eggs n meats.
we loved everything wish we could of stayed longer
Great breakfast included. Also the toilet and sink clogges when we got in, but maintenace staff corrected the issue right away after it was reported.
No places to eat close to the hotel.
Nice clean hotel with a responsive staff. I'd do it again.
Hardboiled eggs were overcooked but that likely won't happen next time - the cook probably left them in the pot too boil for too long a time. All the rest of the breakfast food was fine.
clean room. great breakfast..
Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable order twice food from the lounge tasty food well pleased friendly front desk personnel would definitely stay here again when passing through
Staff very pleasant, accommodating and breakfast was good, and plenty of choices.
Vent in the bathroom was only decorative, no fan everything steamed up and could not use the mirrors. Front door is only way into the building, even with a key. Hallways smelled of tobacco smoke all the time, although our smokefree room did not, so ok
Roominess, plenty of towels ,decor in hotel, friendly service. Breakfast.
The upholstered chairs could use a good vacuuming , no light in clost.
The pool, breakfast, cleanliness and the friendly reception from check in, breakfast staff and housekeeping staff.
It was a little to far from Binghamton where our event was taking place.
Great bar, decent breakfast (free) beautifully decorated rooms. Location was convenient for us.
In December, breakfast was awesome. In april it was sad. It wasnt good enough to keep me fron paying for breakfast somewhere else
It was nice to have the free breakfast buffet that also included eggs cooked to order. Also great that it is pet friendly!
Location was excellent for our visit to Elmira and convenience to the interstate. Room was generous in size and bathroom appeared to have recently been refurbished.
Cleaning materials were still in public places at check in time. Those places also appeared in need of sprucing up. We were surprised to find the restaurant closed on a Sunday evening. We would rate it closer to a 2 than a 3.
Had to go outside to another entrance to use pool. Kept running out of food for breakfast.
Free WiFi was great. Complimentary breakfast was also very appreciated. Staff was nice
Pool was nice
Rooms are very outdated. The carpet siding was coming off.
Had nice amenities, such as indoor pool and very nice fitness equiptment for a hotel
fridge and microwave in room, very close to highway.
to get to pool, you go to basement, walk thru workout room, then walk up a flight of stairs, not very convenient. Charged extra $10 if you wanted a KS room. Fridge and Micro were in hall area of room, leaving little room to walk by, beds uncomfortable
Good location for finger lakes
The chairs in the room need updated
The pool was nice no Internet signal there either tho. I could not do work and watch the kids in the pool do to no Internet
All the bedding was damp I went to the restaurant with my family quite pricey Took left overs back to my room to learn my microwave didn't work an Called the front desk they did not act like they cared never came and replaced Nor to fix it
Nice rooms, large bathroom, comfy bed. Even had working small refrigerator. Nice balcony. A/C and Heat both worked well.
I stayed here in 2005, so stayed again in 2007. The dining room is very good, both for breakfast and for dinner. Keep in mind that there is no complimentary breakfast. However, when I reserved the room through Travel agency, i selected: Standard Room with 1 King Bed Whirlpool Non Smoking It was the same rate as a Standard Room. When I arrived, there was no whirlpool. I was quite disappointed. It was quite cold out and I was really looking forward to that whirlpool. I called the front desk, who told me that they would not give me a whirlpool room as that was not the right rate that I had paid. I promptly called Travel agency, who also called the hotel. They called me back to tell me that the front desk clerk refused to honor the request for a whirlpool room at the rate I had reserved it on Travel agency. While I understand this, I was quite irritated - I reserved a specific room, I didn't get it. The front desk staff were quite rude. When I spoke to my contact in town, they said that they had heard this before when others stayed there, as it was the ONLY hotel for about 20 minutes around, and a very large hospital was nearby. Still, aside from this, the hotel itself was all right. I would not stay there again, though, simply out of anger.
There wasn't anything 'outstanding' about this hotel. The bar area was right off the lobby and was nice, although the music was WAY too loud to have a conversation. One of my 'things' is if there is dirt built up in the corners of the bathroom where it was mopped. There wasn't any here at all. I also like the closet, which was big and the room was roomy with 2 beds, table and chairs.
This is the best hotel in the area - you have to drive 15 miles to another good hotel. I wasn't there when the entertainment was playing so I can't comment. BReakfast was very good, but a bit expensive for the area.
First-the hotel room was clean, pillows were comfortable.BUT, we were in a room directly over the bar. The band played until 1 a.m. I got no sleep until after that. Do not stay here if you want to sleep. Even friends on the third floor could hear the music.'
