The location was good and the lobby looked nice. It just went downhill from there. There were other hotels in the area that were rated better, but they were either fully booked or looked even sketchier than this hotel.
The room was cold when we came in. The toilet was loose and would rock back and forth. It was a non-smoking room, but had multiple cigarette scorch marks throughout the room.
The location, the very helpful & friendly staff, & the comfortable lobby.
The exterior needed maintenance. Hallways & stairways were in need of maintenance & cleaning.
I was forced into finding a hotel because the Quality Inn in Seymour didn't let me know that there was not a room available to accommodate my dog. I went online (we were traveling) and found this hotel. The staff was extremely accommodating and very kind.
The main thing was that it was clean. However, the room was very cold and even with the heat running all night it never warmed up.
TOILETS PLUGGED,,SINK DRAINS PLUGGED,,PLUMBING FIXTURES LOOSE,,SHOWER ARM WOULDN'T STAY IN ONE POSITION,,HAD TO HOLD IT,,NEEDED A GOOD BLEACHING, WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN,,,WE HAD 11 PEOPLE STAY THERE,,,NO ONE GOOD RESPONSE
This facility is in serious need of remodeling! Air conditioning could barely keep room cool. Lobby had to have been 90 degrees, no air.............and this showed with staff at the desk and their demeanor.
This hotel is very unsafe non of the doors to the outside were locked because the locks were broken, our room had a urine smell to it the wall paper was peeling of the walls, there were large stains on the carpet, we will not be staying here again. This hotel is very old and out dated the pool was not open yet.
The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. We had three families in our party checking in at different times and he remembered each group as they arrived. The hallways were very warm and didn't smell very pleasant, but the rooms themselves were clean and satisfactory. The ice machine and vending machine on the second floor were not operating, but were available on the first floor. The only disappointment was that the pool was not open and appeared not to have been open this year at all. The complimentary breakfast was fine and the person caring for it was very friendly also, and offered to bring us anything we needed. Our experience overall was fine. The hotel appears to need some maintenance, but if in that area again, we would probably stay there.
WARM BATH WATER NOT EVEN HOT ENOUGH TO TAKE A SHOWER.VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.ATTENDANT TRIED TO SAY WATER WAS WARM ENOUGH TO TAKE A SHOWER BUT YOU HAVE TO TURN IT ALL THE WAY TO HOT AND IT NEVER REALY GETS HOT.CARPETING IN ROOM STAINED,ROOM HAD AN ODOR,
Only stopped there as a place to spend the night while on a road trip to Tennessee, but it seemed very nice. The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly.
Looks like this place was just re-done. Everything in the rooms, and lobby was new. I will definatley be back. Lounge had a great band live.
