Close and affordable to where we wanted to be.
Although it was a non-smoking room, the room smelled like smoke
No door between bedroom and sink/vanity area. The hotel features looked old. Breakfast was not very tasty
Great value! Great buffet style breakfast with different entrees every morning + all the standand breakfast items. Dinner mon- Thurs. Nice to 'come home' to a cooked meal & not have to plan what to do for meals. Shuttle service was also free.
Roomy, pretty good hot breakfast
The breakfast staff did not keep up with things that ran out as quickly as hey could have. The potato cakes left a lot to be desired.
I like to run in the morning and enjoyed the running trail along the ravine half a block away. Easy access to major thoroughfares. Especially friendly staff. Morning and evening meals and all-day coffee and fruit were a bonus.
A/C outside my window was a bit noisy.
It really felt like a home away from home. I had to travel here for a surgical procedure and needed to know everything would be convenient and comfortable. And it surely was. I would definitely book this hotel again.
It looked like the shower needed some updating - old stains, etc. The floors must've been dirty, too, because if I didn't wear socks or slippers, my feet would turn black pretty quickly.
The breakfast was very good and I liked the workout room.
The bathtub in room could have been replaced and chaulking around redone.
Great breakfast and light dinner. The laundry room was very clean. The maintence folks were very helpful when we used the grill. We go to Phoenix couple of times a year we WILL BE BACK.
clean and spacious room. Good breakfast in morning.
Having extra space when you'll be staying for several days is so much nicer than just a one room space. Nice exercise facility and wonderful fresh fruit at breakfast!
The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The staff in the kitchen went beyond its assigned duties to meet our needs.
Probably the best breakfast in the western hemisphere and the staff from the front desk to housekeeping is just first class.
Small suite which was comfortable. Small kitchen with everything needed to cook. However for a Hilton Hotel, the room could have been cleaner and updated.
Dated look, dark hallways, 60s furniture, tiny pool in middle of parking lot, tube type TVs. Offers basic no frills lodging in a good Scottsdale location. Big problem is sloooowwww internet service, both wired and wireless. Don't stay here if you have a laptop and expect to get any connectivity. Download less that .5 mbs during evening hours. Staff tries hard and there is a new Sales Manager (Amber) who may take things on. This place is not competitive with other Scottsdale offerings. Hilton needs to bring up to standard.
I can not put into words my level of dissapointment in my stay at this hotel, I will try my best though. This by far has been the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.. ever, and I have stayed in hotels/motels across the U.S and in other countries. It seems that this hotel is just inches away from falling apart at the seams. I stayed here in August which is a very very hot time of year in Arizona, especially in the Phoenix/Scottsdale region. I was in a unit where the air conditioning broke down twice, my room got up to 90 degrees both times. Aside from my air conditioning unit breaking down, the fridgerator broke down and the toilets have little to no pressure and sometimes don't flush at all. I am finally in another room, and low and behold I have begun to experience the same issues. Yet this would be nothing if it weren't for the fact that one evening I returned back to my room around 11:00 pm and my door was left opened. It scared me that someone could be in my room, when I found out that it was merely 'house keeping, who must of accidently left door open' I was infuriated. My laptop and all my personal things could have been stolen. I had finally had enough, and requested to speak to management which to this day has not called me. Apparently mgmt out sick going on a week now and there is no one who can discuss the issues that has been taking place. I spoke with another guest and they also advised me that they have been having same issues with everything breaking down and that they have been moved three times already. It is ridiculous!
Accomadations were great for the money. Clean, roomy and wonderful and courteous staff. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
