These are cabins and not hotels.These are cabins that are shared with an RV/Camping park, not a hotel. To start it will take a $10 cab ride to get there from Seward (some may try to charge $20). You have to pay for sheets ($5 per person). Bathrooms are in a separate public building, as well as the showers, which are coin operated (for 2 minute intervals of running water). There was a squirrel living in the roof of our cabin with easy access into the room. You have to pay for firewood if you need heat for the wood burning stove. Also, you have to clean and sweep the cabin and take out the trash if you don't want to be charged an additional $25. room was dirty, beds were uncomfortable, the whole area looked slummy. I was afraid to sleep in the bed. Very rundown. Have to pay for shower.It was not what I expected at all. Sure, a lot of fishermen and backpackers stay there, but for xxx a night, I definitely expect more than what I got. It was like hillbilly haven. Not a pleasant experience at all. I think all they do is change the sheets. We only had a dresser, twin and full bed, and a heater. I was extremely disappointed.
It was secluded.
The sheets were old and worn out.I wouldn't stay here again.
