The Peace Abbey Guest House has four bedrooms, each located on the 2nd floor with a private and shared bathrooms. Guests are welcome 24 hours a day to visit the Multi-faith Chapel and the St. Francis Candle Room as well as the comforts of the livingroom with its working fireplace. The Abbey offers travelers from around the world a place of respite where they can relax and nurture their spirits while in the Boston area. We are located near the following college campuses: Wellesley, Babson, Olin & Framingham State. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE PEACE ABBEY Those who have visited or stayed at the Peace Abbey include: Mother Teresa, Thich Nhat Hanh, Maya Angelou, Arun Gandhi, Daniel Berrigan and Muhammad Ali and hundreds of lesser known activists who have devoted their lives to making the world a less violent, more peaceful place to share. Our overnight accommodations are provided in the tradition of New England retreat centers with a focus on reflection, meditation and activist pacifism. The Guest House is on three acres surrounded by forest and pasture land and is just a short walk to the small village of Sherborn. Guests are welcome to attend lectures, ceremonies and events during their stay.
