It is the only hotel in Sibenik so we did not have any choice!
The people involved were helpful. The location was quaint. The room was comfortable. The town was historic.
This is not an hotel. It isn't even a Bed & Breakfast as breakfast was at a nearby cafe. It was necessary to carry your luggage up many steps for quite a distance. Car parking was in a busy street and had to be paid for on a parking meter which involved getting to the car by 7am or risking a ticket. We went with another couple and we weren't even in the same building. In effect they were two rented rooms about 100 meters apart.
The room looks cosy and it id very well located.
a pretty room in a convenient part of the old town.
This is not a hotel and you are completely misrepresenting it by calling it such on your website. it is a private room and offers no services nor does it have the benefit of a kitchen, which many other private rooms offer. It also has no air conditioning, which i believe is essential in Croatia and totally unacceptable for a 'hotel' charging this sort of money. i would in no way recommend this place to anyone - the owner clearly has a very high opinion of themselves believing that a few nice pieces of furniture justify this price (and some of the furniture was broken!). not good enough.
Beautiful room in the in the middle of the old town, just a couple minutes from the main cathedral, about a 10 minute walk from the bus station (partly up some steep stairs as the old town rises up from the water). Recently renovated, very clean room with nice mix of old stone walls and bright new white walls, dark hardwood floors, a lovely arched window with French style doors opening to a tiny patio, and floor to ceiling white curtains. Good comfortable bed. Kettle with tea and instant coffee. Big bathroom with large bathtub. Good supply of hot water.
The hotel is initially difficult to find because the street is very windy, up and down stairs, and the building numbers are not in consecutive order. I am not sure if there is a main office for the hotel as we ran into the lady running the hotel outside our room (she found us and another couple guests lost in the street). Be aware that although the price on the website in is Euros, payment is due in Kunas.
it was really a good location.
It would be difficult to find it without calling the hotel.
It was in town, had a lot of character and had a terrace. Maike is very nice and friendly.
It is hard to find and not labeled - a neighbor called Maike for us to let her know we had arrived. (The neighbors don't speak English, so it was an interesting conversation as I don't speak Croatian.) It was very warm with no air conditioning.
The owner made us a wonderful breakfast on a terrace with view over the roofs of sibenik to the sea. He was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Everything was perfect.
Jeroen, the proprietor, looked after us so well. The hotel is wonderfully appointed in a mix of old and modern. It is also in a great location within the town of Sibenik. It has a wonderful roof terrace with great views over the town and sea. We were treated to breakfast on the roof terrace during our stay.
Excellent location within the Old town, tasteful decor and quality of room
