Featuring handmade, sculptured furniture and local fabrics by a craftsman from a family of Cambodian Artisans, well-furnished units open out to pool or garden views. Hearty international meals are served at Garden Café while traditional Khmer fare is served at Royal Court. 4 bars and lounges offer refreshments in a casual setting. The property offers complimentary two-way airport transfers and shuttle services to the city centre. Pros:The staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Most had a reasonably good command of English.
Cons:My room safe was broken and it took a couple of tries to get a person who understood the problem (language barrier); once accomplished, it was taken care of immediately. Room faced front of the hotel and there were trees outside the window. These trees are a stopping point for birds at 6am and again at night - hundreds land on the branches of the group of trees and mske quite the racket. I needed to be up early for tours, but if I had wanted to sleep in, it would have been jmpossible. They leave after 10 minutes or so - so not prolonged.
Pros:best hotel i have ever stayed at for the money. the rooms are extremely comfortable, the free breakfast in the morning is great it has a lot of western foods. The pool is awesome.
