location convenient to Notre Dame
worn; the lobby and eating area was very ''worn,'', needs updating.
No rooms with 2 beds available, but had sleeper sofa. Glasses had residue from hard water (dishwasher) and felt 'unclean.' I washed all of them by hand, but still couldn't get it all off. I told the manager when I checked out and she was appreciative.
The staff was very courteous and professional she made us feel at home. The breakfast was very good and the dining room was convenient and well run.
a mild beef with parking but there was snow everywhere which made parking limited.
Hotel staff, were awesome as usual. This is an older residence inn, but well maintained.
Had a problem or 2 with room this time, but got upgraded out of it.
The room itself was very nice. The bed was so comfortable And the sheets were soft. The people worked their were very nice as well.
There were stains on the bed spread, stains on the bathroom walls and in the couch. All of which looked liked blood and dirt. So that grossed us out a little.
Nice spacious room
Was on first floor and floors were thin. Could hear every step people above us took. Get a room on second floor!
The room wasn't the quailty that I expected it to be.
Nice open room with gas fireplace. Able to park near your room.
The hotel is very well kept. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast was great.
The bed was way to soft. Mix up with extending my reservation.
nice large room with full size fridge and microwace
seemed old and a little dirty in corners
Complete, fully equipped studio/kitchen.
Wish it was in a better part of town, although being located close to downtown and ND, I guess it fills a purpose.
The staff is so helpful and welcoming every time we stay here. Christine at the front desk is delightful and the woman in charge of breakfast on Saturday 9/13 was so helpful and kind!
The shower and dishwasher need repair, but that would be an easy fix for the hotel.
Quite, clean, nice space.
A little hard to find. Not convenient to dining.
Lots of space
Hotel was very old - beds were creaky, towels were thin. On par with what I would expect from a 2 star hotel.
I stayed one night and they put me in a room underneath a family with a child who ran around NON-STOP until midnight and then started up again at 7:30am. (yes, NON-stop) the drapes did not give 100% privacy on the first floor and the blinds were dirty.
I loved the size of the room. Nice updated kitchen too.
The furniture seemed to be old, and the sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable.
i left had bugs and i wouldn't stay i lost money
There was no hot water in the morning and I couldn't shower prior to my meeting. They offered another room to use shower but I didn't have time to do. The mattress was aweful and the room really wasn't that nice compared to other three star places.
There were roaches in my room
Staff and amenities
Location not great. There was snow on the ground and visitor parking areas are on steep inclines. The hotel did not have elevators so visitors must carry luggage up a flight of stairs if on the second floor. Exterior entrances to rooms were unexpected.
I found what appeared to be blood on the shower curtain. I reported this to the staff however never received a call from the Manager.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Our bed was uncomfortable and WAY too small. I thought I paid for a King bed, but apparently didn't. There were also several lights in the room that were very bright.
This was not a newly updated Residence Inn. The room was rather small and not a typical Residence Inn layout. Our room was dingy and in need of a good cleaning.
A typical, but older Marriott Residence Inn. Very predictable. If you need the space and kitchenette, it's fine. There was a friendly, family-oriented Italian restaurant within walking distance, otherwise hotel is in a pretty remote residential area devoid of entertainment. Fairfield Inn within a mile is newer, better-featured, and closer to campus and activities.
