The staff was so nice and helpful!
We only spent the night, and didn't have time to use the pool or qym or anything, the breakfast was very good with a good variety.
I can't say that I was disappointed in anything, except the check in time of 3pm was a little late for what we needed to do.
clean and convenient
The location was good. We were only 10 minutes from downtown and the harbor; plus we were 2 minutes from Wal-mart.
I expect better customer service from the hospitality industry. Seems like the trouble we had with our refrigerator was somewhat of a problem for them. They made it seem like they were too busy to get to it even-though there was no traffic of guests.
Great location from the Harbor and friendliness of front desk staff. Also great breakfast selections.
I had a leaky bathtub faucet. Also, the ice machine wasn't located in vending area on each floor.
Definitely impressed with the friendly staff at the front desk!
The breakfast gravy wasn't quite like mom's! Also could use a jacuzzi.
Very clean, comfortable rooms; showers were updated and big. The gal that checked us in provided great customer service! Breakfast was also pretty good.
Rooms were a little humid, making it hard to sleep without the AC on- in mid January! Otherwise happy with our stay.
Everyone was extremely friendly and eager to make sure our trip was going well.
Clean rooms. King size bed was comfortable. Quiet. Good breakfast buffet. Front desk person was friendly and helpful with suggestions for dinner in town.
Nothing. Positive experience.
Breakfasr area was too small for the number of people eating
The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful!
The breakfast was nice and decent.
The staff was great! I stayed here when my car broke down an they were very understanding and welcoming!
The price was outrageous for a holiday inn.
seemed to be redoing the rooms in more modern furniture and colours
had stayed there once before
Staff is very accomodating and helpful. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious. Good breakfast at no extra cost. Our family always chooses this hotel over the others in the area. Make sure you book in adavance. This hotel seems to fill up quickly.
The motel was very comfortable except for the NO SMOKING. We specifically chose the hotel because of it's NO SMOKING area, but could very well have been in an all smoking area. Smoke came in via door, and the halls smelled like smoke, so bad we had to cover our noses to get to our room. We had problems with air conditioning, as it would not cool down until in the middle of the night., and it did not filter the smoke out of the room. We had family members allergic to smoke, and this was very important to us. The hotel was very close to the area we wanted to visit, convenient, and well kept. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast very nice.
I had expected our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in South Haven to be pleasant. The rooms smelled, the bathroom was extremely dirty, the security system on the back door of the hotel was broken and we had to walk arround to the front. No sign was posted on the door. Small pool, no hot tub. Slow, noisy elevator. Breakfast looked less than appealing so we took a pass. Definately would not stay there again.
Our family of 4 stayed in a room with two beds. It was great to have a small fridge in the room. We stayed there for the pool, but couldn't use it because there was too much chlorine in the water.
