Low price, right off US-50.
No, everything was within my expectations for a one star hotel. This is a small motel, but it definitely is a good value for money given the high prices around Lake Tahoe. It is not so close to the downtown of South Lake Tahoe, but if you are only looking for a place to crash it will most definitely serve the purpose. Also you can have a nice and informative conversation with the folks at the front desk.
Room small and cramped. You get what you paid for, an inexpensive nights sleep.
The price was decent for Lake Tahoe during the summer.
The bathroom was very tiny, especially the shower area which was like bathing in a closet. The lack of AC was unwelcome. The quality of the bed was sub-par. And finally, the 19' TV was ridiculously out-of-date.The front desk experience was somewhat unpleasant as I was chided by the owner for 1) using Priceline to book the room (it costs them commission evidently) and 2) using a credit card to pay for the room (again, commission paid by owner). The stairs to the second floor feel somewhat dangerous-wobbly, steep and narrow. The 19' TV in the room is straight out of 1991. No AC, which can be a problem if the day's been hot. Overall, an OK 1-star hotel, but there are far better ones up and down the motel row in Tahoe.
The staff and management were super nice !
No.I strongly recommend this motel if you are just going to use it for sleeping. It is affordable and close to stores, restaurants and a hospital, also close to near by beaches such as Pope beach and not too far from the casinos.
I put in a bid for a 3 & 1/2 star hotel. somehow you guys stuck me with this one star hotel for $xxx plus tax. I will NEVER use priceline again !
There was a microwave and fridge in the room. Free wifi was a plus. The woman who checked us in was very helpful and friendly.
Furniture/decor could use updating. Shower was a small stall shower.
Staff was extremely friendly. She's a young lady and works the front along with her parents and she was very helpful. Good for the price and pretty good location. Approximately 5-10 minutes from casinos.
The plugs on the wall would not hold our chargers in, the bathroom door would not close all the way, and our comforter had a big blood stain on it.
It has a kitchen.
Yes i purchased from priceline at XXX and when I got to the hotel they did not want to honer it. After arguing for a while I had no choice but to purchase it the price they wanted XXX. It was a busy weekend so it was the only one left.
The staff was very nice. Was really quiet because I think it was us and one other room occupied.
The king size room was being painted so we couldn't have that room as we had requested. I guess that was the one with the 'jacuzzi' in it. So no jacuzzi. The pool was completely empty. So no pool. The price was great. The hotel was just average. It suited our needs just for a place to stay while we got married on the beach. It was just an average room.
