convenience. clean. refrigerator and micorwave
Due to a large event in town that weekend prices were very inflated.
Gave wrong room. Asked for two queen beds, gave us two double beds. TV did not work.
It was quiet.
They advertise a heated pool and spa. No spa and we were told they hadn't had one for a few years. The pool was very cold. We like pools that are not over heated but this one was so very cold I think an outdoor pool would have been warmer.
Friendly staff, good buffet breakfast
Seemed a bit overpriced. You can get pretty cheap rooms in Reno.
Clean,friendly staff and comfortable bed.
It was very clean and the breakfast was very nice.
The price with tax made it a bit more costly for us.
The staff was excellent and the hotel was super clean and quiet easy access to the freeway and nice.
Everything! It was so comfortable. The location was perfect.
My husband stayed at the Fairfield Inns and Suites Reno/Sparks on 6/8/2013. The room was small but clean, the staff was courteous, the bed was soft. The receipt at checkout said $112. but found out later in the day that $140.00 was actually charged to the credit card. When they were called to question this he was told that extra was charged to cover incidentals that might be used at the hotel - our credit card would be credited with the extra in a couple of days. Have stayed in a lot of hotels around the country. This is a first and sounds very fishy.
Staff was great. Cookies in the afternoon. Free coffee all day. Free breakfast. Free internet. Such a great value. Very clean and updated. Decent fitness room.
Pool was closed for renovations
It was easy to find and right by everything. Good rates and nice people.
We stayed here for 2 weeks in July 2009 it was very clean and the continental breakfast was very good. The beds were comfortable. The pool was enjoyable the only thing was negative was that the room was very hot and clorine smell was strong. The staff was very helpful. We will definately stay here again.
One of the cheapest places to stay for a good hotel on Saturday night. It is about 5 miles East of Downtown Reno. Fairfield Inn had a nice, friendly, staff. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Hotel room was clean, but a tad small. Great breakfast continental breakfast (make your own waffles, cereal, etc.) subtracted room rate by 10 bucks (most restaurant breakfast will run you this much with tip these days). Nice workout room, decent pool. Only complaint was location near I-80. I was on reverse side of I-80 but still heard road noise (but I am kinda of noise intolerant). All in all a good place to stay
Stayed for 4 nights while visiting family, great location near highway, very clean, friendly staff and large bathrooms. Would recommend to anyone for short stay.
We stayed here last minute and would stay here again. The room was comfortable, clean, roomy enough for 2. The beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in (and I've slept in a lot of hotel beds over the years). The staff was professional. We had to call housekeeping twice and both times they responded promptly and fixed the problem immediately. The free breakfast was decent. It had your usual continental items plus a waffle maker with strawberries and whipped cream, heat and eat egg/biscuit/bacon or sausage sandwiches. The business area was always open and easy to check email/internet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Sparks area.
But they really need to do something about the housekeeping staff! Checked into a dirty room the first day, the second day housekeeping left the dirty bed linens on the floor in the room and no washclothes or bath mat. Such a shame!
