The staff was very nice and accommodating. The location offered easy to access yet quite and comfortable.
Maintenance and up keep of rooms poor. Furniture literally on its last legs. Septic system in entire building poor. Had 3 rooms during stay 2 toilets would not flush without plunging. Basically a truck drivers stop. Owners unavaiable for problems.
Warm welcome from the front desk receptionist. Overall Exceptional customer service from everyone that I had contact with.
Well it is an old motel so I didn't really expect it to be in top notch shape. However, I did feel the bedding could have been cleaner. I did ask for more sheets.
Staff was friendly. Location was great.
Beds were not real comfortable.
Faucet in sink did not work! Public areas and rooms needed paint and complete refurbishing
Bed squeaking, not really good air conditioning
Staff gets 5 stars!!!!!
Could use a little updates but price was cheap so it was expected. Most of the lights were burned out though.
The cleanliness, the shower was wonderful, the staff were extremely friendly, and tons of channels on the TV to watch. Very pleasant stay.
The kingsize bed was just very slightly a bit hard, but I have a bad back, so I'm more susceptible to that. I'm sure for most people the beds would be fine. Absolutely would stay there again even with this caveat though.
You get what you pay for, somewhere to sleep on your travels
There were a lot of pillows on the bed.
I have stayed in various hotels for this star level and this was probably the dirtiest and loudest of them all.
People hanging out on balcony drinking, clothes hung over railing, poor location.
The location was great and the hotel was very quiet.
The beds and over all room was fine but the bathroom needs to be updated. Looked like the calking had been repeated over itself many times. Shower head had a big hole around it. Room had a faint smokey smell even though it was smoke free.
We were very impressed
The hotel was very clean and met all of our needs for the one night we needed to stay in spartanburg.
The only thing that bothered me was that it was not the days inn that I intended to book. I wanted the one closer to the Spartanburg memorial auditorium as that was where our event took place. I didn't realize there was 2 so close together.
This hotel is very convenient to softball complex at North Spartanburg and Tyger River, the price is very affordable and the rooms are clean. This is the second time I have stayed here and will be back next month.
The hotel is very old but it is clean, the breakfast is nothing to bragg about but it there for you and its free. Overall not a lot to complain about, its a very good value for your money unless you are used to staying at the Hilton.
there was a dog barking when we first got there. It was a little too loud.
The hotel was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay there again!!!
Towels were very dingy, bathroom needed some repairs and paint, no iron, and other guests were very noisy ALL night.
Convenience for overnight interstate travel. Offers sufficient breakfast to get you on the road.
DIRTY,FILTHY. BEDS MADE LOTS OF NOISE. WORE OUT HOTEL.
Room could be cleaner, TV remote did not work, bathroom/shower needed maintenance, contintal breakfast was bare minimun, appeared not to be American owned, will not ever stay here again.
Our original room was a bit inferior. older, bedding, musty odor. We realized that we were in a 'smoking' section, were immediately transfered to another room which was very nice - almost a different hotel. Would stay again if necessary.
The hotel staff were very professional. The room was clean, but a little old/dingy. I would stay here again and felt comfortable in the hotel.
I stayed here by myself this summer when my daughter was at an overnight soccer camp at U of SC Upstate. It had a nice pool, staff was friendly and the room was basic but nice. I twas also close enough to grocery stores and restaurants, when I needed something. Only 5 minutes from the college, so it was very convenient. I would stay here again.
This was my first time in Spartanburg and if I am ever back in the area, for business or relaxation, I'm staying here again! Right off the highway, great views of pines and fields (at least from room 135) and absolutely no traffic noise. I think that had to do with being on the opposite side of the hotel from the highway. :) Very friendly staff and nice rooms with the comfiest bedding I've had in a long time. Enjoyed the free breakfast both days of my stay.
I had a family reunion in Spartanburg and I chose this motel over the one the rest of my family stayed at because of the swimming pool and the Travel website rating vs. the rating of the other choices in my price range. It was a pretty nice room, however, it did show some signs of aging, for example, the toilet paper roll hanger was rusty. Other than that, it was clean. The staff changed the linens and soaps every day, which some hotels are lax on these days. There were several good eateries nearby, as well as outlet shopping.
This was halfway between home and Myrtle Beach. It was the perfect place to stop. Easy access to interstate. In the process of remodeling but will be very nice very soon. The staff was very helpful. Would stay there again.
