Pros:
The 6th Ave staff was very helpful at pickup. When I arrived to pickup a car, several other customers were there too. The staff kept working until after 5 to adequately take care of everyone. The staffer helping me gave me good advice on a full size upgrade as I'd reserved an economy car that wouldn't perform sufficiently in the mountains where I was headed. At dropoff, I accidentally went to the 11th Ave location. The fellow there was very agreeable about checking the Dodge Charger in for me, and it was so very quick.4.8 Mediocre

The staff was very friendly and the drop-off process was quick and easy.Cons:
Pickup took 50 minutes. I had a confirmed booking for an economy car, but after a long wait, I received a mini-van. The van had a significant amount of dog hair in the rear seat, and only a quarter tank of gas.2.0 Poor

Cons:
Told me they wouldn't do a pick-up or drop-off unless it was for an insurance claim. Ran my card for more than the agreed-upon amount causing it to be declined. Once I got that cleared up they said they can only run the card once per day. Asked if they can break a 20 so I can get change for the bus to go down to Avis, and they said they had no cash. Thanks for nothing5.2 Fair

Pros:
My flight got delayed by a full day and Kayak was no help. But I was able to call the Alamo desk directly and they fixed everything! The car I rented was perfect for my needs and the price was right!10.0 Wonderful

Staff was fine. Dropoff site poorly defined, couldn't find it, which lead to disastrous problems. All of the other car rental agencies have clearly marked paths to their return sites at PDX. ALAMO's sign is low and poorly lit and when your attention is directed to the overhead signs reading "rental car returns", it's very easy to miss.7.2 Good

They didn't have the size vehicle we reserved so they upgraded us to a size up for free.Cons:
When I booked the rental I put down the airport I wanted to pick up at and drop off at. When we arrived in Eugene we found out that they booked our rental off site and had to take a taxi to get our rental.2.0 Poor

I flew into Eugene, Or. on July 4th. Arrived at Avis counter and was informed my rental was not from the airport location. He turned away and would not help me ! I rented a taxi to the other site and found it CLOSED for the holiday. I had to use the taxi to get into town and still had no car.3.6 Poor

Thought I was renting from Avis at the airport. Found out my pickup location was 5 miles AWAY from airport. Airport location wouldn't honor pricing of other location. Extremely inconvenient - had to take a taxi to puck up my car! Won't rent from them again!3.6 Poor

We got upgraded to a kia Sorento. We really enjoyed the vehicle, very comfortable, good gas milage.Cons:
The vehicle was not on-site when we arrived; they had to go get it. The price we paid was not the price stated when we made the reservation on-line. When we pointed out the discrepancy, the agent said she would figure it out and call us after we were on our way. She did not do this at any time. The vehicle was not clean when we when it was rented to us, outside or inside. Finally, several other people were in the place when were were waiting for our vehicle; two left in quite a huff. One said that their whole trip was ruined and the other said that they did not live up to what was promised or agreed to. Someone ended up picking her up rather than in a rental.2.0 Poor
