I can honestly say there was nothing I liked about the hotel. I wish I had chosen another hotel.
I am not picky about hotel rooms. It is just a place for me to sleep before heading off early the next day. This was not a very nice hotel. I only stayed here because the ratings were better than other hotels at the same price. I stayed in several hotels at the same price on a long road trip and this was the worst one. There were a couple of small spiders spinning webs in the room, carpet was dirty, lamps by the bed didn't work, cigarette burns on the blanket (not the comforter, that goes on the floor immediately). Wasn't thrilled with this place, not the worst I have ever stayed in but I won't be staying there again.
I have no problems staying here room was clean, staff is nice and the beds / pillows are very comfortable. Would stay here again when I visit Springfield, MO. Love the microwave and refrigerator that was also in the room.
Decent place to stay for a night. Just like another reviewer, I had issues with reservation missing, but we figured it out in a minute. The room was well-maintained, everything clean and what you would expect in this price range. A trick was to turn on the climate - once on, it raised the temperature to normal and kept it well (ignoring the reception guy's advice and going to bed without turning it on was a big mistake).
Extremely rude customer service!! The room was not bad, beds were rock hard but the service was awful. I called the day before to verfiy check in, I was told 12pm by someone. I get there a little after 12 day of check in, cannot check in. I was told check out time is 12pm and check in time is 2pm. I called Travel online cause I was told the room was not ready. No maid carts around, no vehicles in the parking lot but the rooms were not ready. Suddenly the room becomes ready but I did not check in. I used a local gas station to change clothes to attend my daughters band banquet. The next morning the phone starts ringing, answer it, they hang up. This happend several times. At 11:15 Im being screamed at by this owner or whoever she was, that I need to get out or she was charing me an additional $*. Yet as stated above I was told check out time was 12pm. I had to slam the door in her face because she would not stop. We left and we wil NEVER return there again. I would suggest anyone wanting to try this motel spend a few dollars more and avoid what I went through.
I arrived in Springfield at 11.15pm and when I got to the motel on this cold night, the attendant talked to me while I stood in the cold. He gave me a form to fill and did not invite me to the reception area even after producing my ID. I had to struggle filling the form with the minimal light that was available. When I got into the room it was freezing cold and the air conditioner was like a coles crane. I forgot to bring lotion and the motel did not have any. It was one of the worst experiences that I have had.
