The rooftop bar was amazing!
Everything was great!
So close to everything downtown, but the hotel is also very nice--they are not trading a nice place to stay for just the location. And the place was very popular, people enjoying the lobby and going up to rooftop bar, even though the Cardinals were out of town.
The proximity to the Arch & Ballpark was great as well as the other downtown spots. Never really felt like we needed a taxi except when we went to the Budweiser Brewery. The welcome desk & concierge staff were very friendly & informative.
The only cons I have about this hotels is the elevator w/ the keypads were always backed up, there is no free wi-fi, & the rooms didn't have a fridge. Other than that the hotel was nice.
Our room was small but comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The view was great--we overlooked Busch Stadium. The location was also perfect for walking around downtown St. Louis. For a really spectacular view, head to 360, but be forewarned, you can't get there without the assistance of staff. We tried and wandered aimlessly. We did not utilize the gym or pool, but they looked nice.
The shower was awful. When going away for whatever reason or for however long, it is imperative to have a decent shower. Our hotel shower had low pressure, a weak stream, and we didn't feel clean afterwards. When we got home, the first thing we did was take a nice hot shower. r The hotel seems to have updated everything but the rooms. The Market Bistro was very pleasant; all staff was more than friendly and accommodating. There wasn't a bartender behind the lobby bar, so we couldn't just grab a quick drink there; we'd have to go into the Market Bistro. Also, if you need anything such as deodorant, a toothbrush, or a nail clipper, you won't be able to get these in the gift shop. Slim pickings down there. We left for all of our meals, cocktails, and any forgotten items.
Elevators are horrible in the east tower 1 is only used for the bar on the roof..it took us 20 minutes to get an elevator from our room on the 9th floor to the lobby because the elevators available to guests staying at the hotelweree full everytime
Location and roof top bar.
Didnt have hot tub working at pool. Pricry.
The staff were very friendly and helpful...loved the views from my room and the bed was extremely comfy
Location, location, location!! It's easy to hit the ballgames at Busch stadium which we did and do the wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood. Views even from our lower 4th floor were exceptionally good. One big surprise was how well our heating/cooling unit didn't need to run very much which aided a nice night of quiet. The bonus we didn't expect was the rooftop night spot 360 appropriately named. What a wonderful gathering spot. Great food up til 11pm. It's great watching the Cardinals game from way up over center field and then the fireworks afterwards. This was a wonderful experience. As one would expect for the money the service was exceptionally good and doting. Our first experience with digitally programmed elevators as well.
It was an embarrassment for a hotel of this price range to have the bathroom door get stuck against the front of the toilet. Oh well, can't have everything. in addition there was a musty smell reminiscent of too much humidity for too long in the room.
the check in was a breeze, the staff was helpful from the time we drove up and through out the stay, the room was very clean
they changed the coffee from the last time we stayed - change it back
Close to stadium. Close parking garage. Valet was full.
The location is the best, and access to the 360 bar was nice.
Room was not completely clean when we got there, and wasn't turned down second day we were there.
The view, that's it... Everything else mediocre at best..
Tub, sink , and toilet all had hair on them. The heat for the room was uncontrollable, even with the wall unit off , the heat was still on and off. The elevator seemed to confuse everyone, even the bellman took us to the 25 th floor before making several stops going back down we had to get off on a wrong level and switch elevators to get to our room! Went to the vending machine on the 12 floor where I selected a water and received a diet cola from the machine. For $17 a person breakfast buffet I would expect a lot more that what was there, potatoes not cooked all the way.
