Being stalked calling the police staff doing nothing calling corporate puting a complaint nothing but to call general manager at the hotel he justbsaid he would train hes staff better and he would look at the cameras no sorry kids everywhere
Pool was very small. The breakfast area was very congested do to people eating in line
Very helpful and friendly staff....excellent rooms....great location...
There was nothing to complain about.
It was fairly close to the Great Dismal Swamp, which is where we wanted to go.
The breakfast! We showed up for the continental breakfast and all they had was toast.
Sheets uncomfortable. Guests loitering in parking lot
I loved this hotel! I plan on staying here every year on our way through.
Too expensive. Pool opened too late for us to stay and play, which was one of the reasons we booked it.
We flew into Richmond and stayed at the hotel on our way to the Outer Banks. It was a perfect place to stop. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.
The staff was extremely friendly. The breakfest was excellent. Normally you expect the worse when the breakfast is 'free.' This breakfast included hot food, as well as an assortment of pastries.
The business center computer did not have microsoft office. The juice available for the free breakfast was watery on the first morning. My wife did not like the sheer curtains. The heavier curtains were just for decoration, and could not be drawn shut.
The donvenience and location. It was cleanly, it had restaurants in walking distance, just perfect!
close to the areas I needed to visit. Very clean and friendly, helpful staff.
Hotel Was Fine But Priceline sent me 23 miles out of my way to this hotel
The hotel was very nice. The breakfast was good. Overall i enjoyed my stay. MY only complaint was the pool was not ready to be used yet and it was the end of June. The kids were really looking forward to getting in the pool each evening but other than that had a very nice stay with my family at this hotel. Will stay there again in the future.
One of us had to use the sleeper sofa. The staff then required us to come and get the bedding and then make the [sofa] bed. They said they were full and no other rooms were available. The headboard for the second bed was on the wall, but the bed was gone. The desk clerk said she didn't know about it. The breakfast was the best part of the experience. If we had received what we had paid for I would rank this hotel a little higher.
Great lace, and good value! Really enjoyed staying here while visiting my daughter. Excellent breakfast!
I love the Marriott hotels because I have had great experiences in the past. When I make my travel plans, I check to see if a Marriott is available before I consider other options. They are the best!
The only reason why we checked in was because we arrived in the area at midnight. The smell in the room was unbearable. We got out as fast as we could and requested another room. The bathtub was dirty . The shower curtain was also dirty. In the room, the floors were dirty and had dirt spots on the floor.
the service was not good! the employees have attitude problems, and the rooms are not clean.
This is a new facility. It is across the street from the hospital, but far enough back from the street that you don't hear the ambulances as they drive in. The breakfast area was well maintained and the tables were cleaned after use. The fruit was fresh and they are going to start a hot bar in the next week or two. The staff were extremely friendly and eager to answer any questions. If you come in after midnight, you have to enter by the front desk letting you in. We were impressed with the room appointments and the free internet access. The mirowave/fridge was a nice touch. We have family lin the area and chose to stay here because of the large number of people attending the holiday party we were having. We will stay here again.
