I would not stay there again, to old. bad smell, and dirty
The hotel is not a luxury place, but it was clean, friendly staff, and convenient location. Breakfast area was small but ok. I would definately stay there again.
sheets were to small for the bed. I think they were queens on a king bed
Staff was nice. The room was clean. I had a king bed and the blanket seemed to be made for a queen or full. It was fairly comfortable. My girlfriend wasn't happy about having to use powdered creamer in her morning coffee.
Quaint 60's vintage, small but adequate, beautiful trees, good commercial neighborhood
would stay elsewhere due to age and condition of hotel, most hotel guests appear to be workers/construction etc...
Very close to FSU and was a cheap hotel. Everything was clean and towels and bed linens smelled fresh (no mold smells in the room and no stains on linens). Check in was fast/easy with the clerk being pleasant, as was check out. Is in a good location, but also a busy one, which made the area outside the hotel noisy, but price and location couldn't be beat; I slept well - so noise in wee hours of morning was not an issue. Only real issue with this hotel room was that the toilet paper holder was directly over the toilet (the toilet was placed right up against the wall). There was room to have placed the paper holder on the other wall which would not have interfered with sitting on the toilet; the current configuration left those of us needing to sit on the toilet a challenge. Would say here again if I can't get into one of the better hotels in the area for less - Staybridge is my favorite and I also like Wyndham, but I guess because it was a Friday night - prices at these were too expensive for me.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome upon check in. There was a breakfast available in the morning although we did not part take in it. Rates were comparable to other motels in the area. Would definitely reccommend this motel if you are in the Tallahassee area.
My family only had to stay one night and that was enough. We stayed at this hotel on a Saturday night. There was a group of people in the parking lot playing music and having a good time in the area outside the rooms when we arrived. It was still early so we thought OK they will be asked to quite down before to late. This was not the case. At 3:00 am My husband asked the group outside our room to please quite down because we had small children trying to sleep. I brought this up to the clerk the next morning and she replied that they were aware of the problem and the night clerk was instructed to take care of the group and failed to do so. I was then told that if I called back that they may give me a discount on my next stay. I will not be staying there again. So that is a mute point.
This is not the Taj Mahal - but it will do for an overnight stay. The rooms are adequate and the staff is very friendly. We feel safe staying here.
Nothing spectacular but solid hotel in a very accessible location for a great price. No complaints.
Brought my family and we had two rooms that connected together. Both rooms were very clean and neat. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. I was happy with the stay and my kids were too. Breakfast was ok, not great, but good enough to get you going in the morning. The little interaction we had with the staff was pleasant and they were very accommodating when trying to get two rooms that would open up to each other.
Staff was very friendly and the pool was clean and cool. The rooms were a little old but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the location is perfect.
The hotel was always clean, the room was very comfortable. The fridge & microwave was very convenient. Housekeeping was on time & always pleasant, so was the front desk staff - very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
For the money we paid, this was a very nice hotel. The room was comfortable and well maintained. It had a coffe maker, microwave, ironing board and iron, and hair dryer in the room. It made it nice that we could bring home leftovers from a restaurant and have a way to reuse them later. We were there to search for an apartment for our daughter, who will be attending college in Tallahassee. The front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. She answered our questions about the area, gave us directions, and told us about places we might want to check out. The rooms were clean and the place was quiet. They have a small pool ,which was clean, but we had no opportunity to use it as it rained the whole time we were there. The continental breakfast was limited, but the coffee was good. We would stay there again.
Good staff, location and room. Continental breakfast needs improvement. Only toasts and muffins. Needs an elevator. We have a second floor room with a lot of luggage.
The WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. There were bugs crawling all over the room! Nasty!
This is a very nice little motel! When traveling I look for small motels that offer competitive prices and am very picky about cleanliness and overall good feel of the facility. So far the top of my list was a little restored roadside motel in Concord, NC. After my stay in this HoJo I am not sure which one gets top billing. This is a very unique motel in that the place is so clean and the rooms are large, everything in the room worked fine and the place just has a great overall feel. Three beautiful Oak trees offer shaded parking unlike so many stark parking lots of other motels. Parking is good and right in front of the room. Lots of light for security at night. Security was a main concern for us because of all the Christmas gifts we had to leave in the car. Oh, one more thing...the bed was so comfortable I am going to replace my bed at home with one like the motel used. Good pillows as well....We loved this place!
The hotel is clean and in a great spot, right off I-10. They serve a quick breakfast in the morning and the staff was very nice. Great value for the price!
