Just as advertiswed. Better breakfast than I've seen in comperable properties. Well run with a happy staff.
Pool towels are dasically washcloths.
The staff was friendly and very responsive to our need's and took quick action on any request's we made. We will definitely recommend this Hotel our friend's. We will certainly go there again.
The swimming pool water looked cloudy and needed a little more attention.
The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfy.
The breakfast was bare. The 'front desk' lady was trying to manage the breakfast area while running the front desk. She said the 'breakfast lady' was on break.
Pool had been closed for repairs but never mention it.
Staff was helpful. Complimentary breakfast was wonderful.
Pool was closed due to maintenance. No way to know this when booking room. Kids were extremely disappointed.
Clean room, friendly staff. Pool was great for kids. We was pleased with this hotel. Nice to have refrigerator in room. Breakfast was good.
Clean and the pool for the grandkids.
This hotel was completely sold out over Labor Day weekend, packed with families and kids. You would not have known it. It was extremely quiet, we had rooms on 2 and 3rd and no noise, though I can't speak if it is true of the rooms on the first floor. We had to ask for extra towels every day, but the housekeeping staff was always ready to clean the room when we left for the day. The beds were soft, we had wi-fi in both rooms. The breakfast was better than expected, hard boiled eggs, cereal, cinnamon rolls, fruit, yogurt, donuts and some one was always there refilling the breakfast bar, even on Monday when the crowds left. Some of the downsides were the business center fax went down everytime we went to use it. The computers were down in the business center, thank heaven for our own laptops, the exercise room is a treadmill and a eliptical machine and you have to wait for the kids to quit playing on them, unless the manager sees you waiting then they shoo them back into the pool. The pool was warm, no hot tub however. Though maybe a joke, it was a bad one. Sitting on the front bench as we checked out was a 20ish young man, in an orange Property of Brown County Jail, bumming smokes. He was gone before we finished loading, after letting the front desk know. There are no signs to show you were to turn in so if you come in after dark you need to know you turn at the McDonalds then left up a steep hill. If you want a clean, quite hotel at a good rate in Tell City, then this is your choice.
At the prices this hotel charges for a room, you would expect much more. What it calls a suite is actually a single room with a partial wall in the center and a minimal kitchenette. Things like soap, cups, coffee, etc., were not replaced daily.
