It was close to the Hulman Center
The morning breakfast was nasty. No biscuits, sausage was cold, eggs were cold. Very disappointing start to the day.
clean, convenient and roomy
Loved the bed. Best night sleep ever!!!!
Check in was complicated... She was new so expected - this was the worst thing and really no big deal
The pool - the breakfast.
u was traveling alone and it did not feel like a safe area.
Everything but breakfast
Breakfast was so so.
Best hotel we have found in Terre Haute. The place is clean, the staff friendly, and convenient.
We had crickets in the room every morning. We killed 5-10 each day. We were located at the end of the ground floor end of hall entrance/smoking section.
The staff was extremely friendly as well as extremely accommodating! Will definitely staff there again if ever in town! Complimentary breakfast was very good and the area kept very clean!
Updated décor, good location from the highway, the room was spacious with full kitchenette, seating area and bedroom, clean room, good shower water pressure
Nothing, hotel met expectations for star level
Very nice property! Great breakfast.
Jacuzzi was too cold and blowing cool water out of the jets. Very loud pool area with kids running around.
really needs updating. Breakfast not great at all, rooms very dated with peeling paint, knobs coming off of drawers. Bad smell in the room even though it was no smoking. Smelled like bad hairspray
Well decorated, comfortable room with conveniences to make us feel right at home.
Breakfast was subpar for Marriott. All trays of food were almost empty.
Room was clean, spacious. Convenient location.
Room had an unpleasant odor - like a cleaning solution smell. The waffles at breakfast had very little taste - the batter is missing something. No skim/fat free milk for cereal.
I love that I can come here and it is consistently clean and friendly. If something is not right the staff makes it right, right away!
I wish the eggs were a little more done.
pool and hot tub
the people in the next room very loud and when I called the desk she said she would do something and didn't do it we got very little sleep or rest I complained the next morning and all they could say was I sorry .
Helpful desk staff. Clean.
Room thermostats did not function. No hot water in shower. TV remote buttons not operational. Towels below Marriott standards.
Refrigerator in the room and the included hot breakfast.
one elevator, and it was broke when we checked in. All I got was a sorry. It had been broke all day. So I chose a second floor room. My wife could not have made it to the third floor. Help was just bare minimum. Room way overpriced.
The spacious sitting area in each room is great for a family with kids. The breakfast is very nice. This is a newer hotel in the area so it is clean and modern.
The hotel can be tricky to find because it is behind another hotel and other stores and the sign is not as obvious.
Location is good, staff that greeted us was very pleasant.
Hallway carpets were filthy - and that's not too strong a word - filthy - it was disgusting. Staff in the morning were apathetic - not rude, just didn't seem to care that we were there.
The complimentary coffee was about the only thing I was pleased with.
We had to inconveniently switch rooms at 1am because our toilet was broke and would not flush. They moved us into a handicap room when the hotel was not even fully booked. That room leaked water from the a/c which was noisy and made puddles on the floor
the staff was very pleasant
the security/ fire detection flashes all night long in the room. The was very NO water pressure.
Really not a 3-star. Dirty, the bathtub had a gray ring around it. The room smelled like someone spilled a bottle of bleach. Not something that's good for your lungs. The cooling system rattled on & off all nite long. Asked for connecting rms, not done.
Location is fine, reasonably clean and breakfast was more than I expected, particularly at this price. This hotel shares a parking lot with another where I have also stayed. The other hotel is closer to the highway and louder. This was better.
Bathrooms are older and can use some freshening up and the view out the back of the hotel is pretty sad.
breakfast was OK.
dirty. vending machines didn't work. had to exchange a blanket that was filthy, never been washed by the appearance.
Rooms was very clean and quite enjoy the breakfast.
changeable duvets seemed fresh
didn't give us our Marriott points because we booked with you. :( VERY boring decor. Had expected a more modern hotel after staying in the Springhill at DTW. Just surprised, it wasn't bad.
The rooms were disappointing, unlike the calibre of Chicago. Further, upgrading is needed.
The staff was welcoming, the room was beautiful, well appointed and spacious. Everything was very clean... nice kitchenette. Very good location, both the interstate and shopping plaza were close by.
The hotel is nice, but the breakfast was a dissapointment. Eggs were cold (found a bug in them). Hotel staff allowed guests to eat with bare feet, it was definately slummy for a nicer hotel.
We took two adjoining rooms after a 700-mile drive, and they were almost perfect. The rooms were large and clean with big flat-screen TVs. The chair and sofa were firm, clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful & polite, even offering to extend the FREE OPEN BAR in the lobby because we showed up just as it was closing. The wired & wireless Internet was faster than most hotels. The little shop next to the front desk sold various frozen foods, so I didn't even need to go out when I needed a late dinner. Breakfast was very good. The one slight ding is the mattress: like most hotels, it's too soft for people with back trouble. We are sold on the Springhill Suites chain, and we will use them again whenever we travel.
This is a lovely place to stay. The hotel staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were great - spacious and clean with very comfortable beds. The pool area was nice as well - clean and plenty of towels. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and the young lady keeping it stocked did a great job accomodating the crowd there was. It was a very nice stay after several hours on the road - I highly recommend Springhill:-)
