Historically, it is in Whitby that Dracula was born. Author Bram Stoker visited the area and quickly fell in love with imposing courtyard found at Church of St. Mary. However, tourists flock to the area year after year because of the gorgeous buildings, imposing cliffs, and gorgeous sea views. Whitby is a classic British harbor town with plenty to see and do. It is unsurprising that people come to Whitby for vacation and then decide to research what it would take to make Whitby their home.
