Booked the car through Kayak, the Enterprise location didn’t actually have a car available (the website shouldn’t allow me to book through them). The enterprise did try to call immediately after I booked and left a voicemail telling me they didn’t actually have vehicles for the next morning, but I didn’t receive the voicemail. I spent $40 on an Uber to their location, only to be told by their agent they they didn’t have cars, and that they did call to tell me that the night prior. When asked why they didn’t try calling again in the morning, to perhaps save me a trip, they basically had no response. The customer service at the location was non-existent, there was no attempt to rectify or apologize for the inconvenience, the woman “helping” me never made eye contact with me, and repeatedly just kept saying, “we did call and leave you a message.” It was clear they had no interest or concept of customer service, so I had them cancel the reservation, I then booked direct through National Car Rental at the airport for the next day and had a great experience. I won’t book through Kayak again, had this been a business trip it could have caused serious issues. When I reserve a vehicle I need to be able to trust that it’s an actual reservation.2.0 Poor

Pros:
The staff was rude and extremely unhelpful. We were promised a premium truck which was then revoked. Upon arrival the truck was available but only in 2 wheel drive. Being we were in Colorado I wanted a 4 wheel drive car. Upon arrival the associate said they had a 4 wheel minivan available so I opted for that. It turns out the van was only 2 wheel drive and the associate lied to us. It snowed that night and we barely made it to our rental condo. We also missed a day of skiing because of the weather and our inability to drive. We called enterprise to see if they could provide a 4 wheel car. We never received a call back.Cons:

The person at the rental agency very tactlessly said they didn’t have any cars for the price I reserved the car for. He said they only have SUVs and that it would cost me $50 more. I was in a bind so I took it, but I felt swindled.2.0 Poor

I sat and waited for a car they couldn’t find for over an hour before they finally gave me a different model, it was damaged and then had to be switched to another car. As I was driving out I saw that they finally brought up the car I was supposed to have originally but I was done dealing with that by then.4.0 Mediocre

It was the first time I had tried to pick up a car early, and this may be an industrywide policy, but instead of charging an hourly amount for the extra hour and a half, they were going to calculate the new rate as if I were just renting today, which would have been $200 more. I suppose in the interest of time, the car was given to us dirty. On the fence about that.10.0 Wonderful
