The traditional Edoya Ryokan accommodation is located on the edge of the Hongo Hill near downtown Ueno with such well-known sightseeing and shopping places including Ueno Park Yushima Shrine and Akihabara Electrical Town. From Narita International Airport it is easy to access via Keisei Skyliner Train to Ueno Station. Then take a short taxi ride (six minutes) to the ryokan. There is a Japanese restaurant provides breakfast lunch and dinner in Japanese traditional decoration. The hotel is a 7 storied modern brown-brick building from which we can not image traditional Japanese ryokan inside. The lobby is small in size with simple design. There are some seating spaces and tatami floor room. There are a few computers for the Internet access at the lobby floor. Established in 1967 the ryokan is a Government Registered Tourist Hotel offering a convenient location and easy access to public transport and many of Tokyo's tourist attractions.
