Friendly, efficient staff. Lovely gardens and tasteful decor. Good size room and bed. Good food.
Bath sealant needed replacing.
The position, grounds, ambience and ease of parking
The staff were not very attentive and there was a lot of noise from the street until 04.00
The setting of the hotel and the historic aspect of the building itself were outstanding. We enjoyed sitting by the pool and our room was clean and quiet.
We were very disapointed not to be allowed parking in the hotel or surrounding areas due to wedding guests. We had difficulty checking in due to the wedding in the hotel vestibule and on finding our room there were no soap and shower gel.The wedding party spoiled our pool and dining experience. The 'chill out' bar was closed and wedding guests children were allowed free run of the grounds. We dined in the restaurant which was very noisey from the wedding celebrations beneath. We ordered white wine and were given red and I was given steak with chips instead of potatoes. We found the whole experience far from the calm relaxing time we were expecting. I feel the wedding should have been more contaied by the hotel.
Exceptionally beautiful building. Very friendly receptionist. Located right in the center of town, with free car park. Nice warm pool. A nice time travelling experience!
No satellite tv. Food in the restaurant was a bit over complicated and as a result not very nice taste wise.
Beautiful hotel magnificently restored with really interesting pieces of furniture and antiques. We were travelling from south of Spain into France and the hotel was a bit out of the way from our direction but it was a very pleasant diversion.
Everything, don't tell anyone else, excelent breakfast
Restaurante menu too fussy, pretenstious, didn't try it
Very good accomodation in a special environment. Top class location.
