I travel for a living and walked in hotels and restaurants for 15 years. We had a pretty good night stay the first night and upon coming back from the canyon afternoon raising sunrise, we were informed that they gave our room away for the night. They were completely unapologetic and simply told us "we're sold out". The woman we have been dealing with had no explanation as to why we had nowhere to stay that night all of a sudden. When we asked to speak to the manager, we encountered the single worst service industry employee I've ever met my life. She was rude,uninformed and had zero training in how to provide good service to customers paying a lot of money and also how to manage a staff of service industry employees.Run for your lives from this hotel!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms, nice restaurant. Only complaint was the heater in our room ran hot or cold, thermastat must be messed up.

Pool and many rooms were under renovation. Didn't 'hide' the room renovations so there was some dust and dirt that got kicked up in the hallways.

I REALLY didn't like that after a long 14 hour day we come back to our room to relax and the a/c did not work at all. I called front desk and they sent the maintenance man right away but he couldn't fix it. He said he had a new unit in the store room and could swap it out in 5 minutes, but he does not have the key and it was locked. Our only option was to sweat our asses off all night or switch rooms. We had a king bed and we were bumped to a queen bed room two floors down. I am a big guy so this sucked. The worst part is we had ALL our suitcases unpacked and hanging in the closet and our stuff out all over. Took a half hour to pack up to move downstairs. The new room was ok, at least the a/c worked, but the bathroom had a fan in the ceiling and no switch to be found. The towels were clean, but clearly very old. Very disappointed in our stay. I spoke to the front desk concerning a discount on the room based on my experience and was told since I booked with Expedia, I would have to contact them. So I can see where this is going. I will do so when I return home from my trip and I will wait to put my review of my experience on TripAdvisor.Com until I see what happens then.
The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean, had comfortable beds and a Keurig coffee maker. It was located ~10 minutes from the Grand Canyon rim.
It was more money than comparable hotels in the area and did not have a refrigerator (it is a very 'green' hotel so this is understandable).

Indoor pool was quite cold (abt. 60 degrees); excercise room well equipped but one treadmill out of order; front desk closed down at 9 p.m., neede more blankets: no one around.
Excellent and convenient location to explore Grand Canyon. Impressive design. Good prepared food at restaurant (not cheap though).

The location was perfet for us.
The bathroom mirror looked like it had not been thourghly cleaned and there was a hair in the sink. There was a penny on the floor so it appeared that the carpet had not been vacuumed. We also heard employees complaining about being laid off.
The hotel is very nicely done out inside, and the restaurant and bar area is excellent. It is very well located for the Grand Canyon NP.
It was not possible to get a twin room, even though the reservation said that a twin room was possible.
The lobby was nicely decorated with themes of the Grand Canyon and the West and Indian artwork. Parking was convenient.
It was probably too expensive because it was remote from other towns and only a few miles from the Grand Canyon. I would have prefered to stay in Williams or Flagstaff but my wife wanted to stay close to the park.
The hotel is stylish and fits very well into the Grand Canyon landscape. rooms are nice, clean and calm, what we expected.The hotel is conveniently located at the entrance of Grand Canyon national park, which makes it an excellent hub for discovering this unique natural wonder.
The price is a little high, enven though the quality and location are very good.
