locked out of room door was broke was told to come back the next day to get belongings but finally got in.Clerk was supposed to issue credit but messed it up. Still haven't received it.Cut trip short due to no $ we had to find new hotel!bad experianceManager wouldn't come even though we couldn't get in room to get our belongings, Finally got in had to go to another hotel paying $4 extra, Clerk didn't issue credit correctly causing my family to suffer all week with no money!
Everything. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, ever. No towels, smelled terrible, no shampoo, no hair dryer, no lobby. Staff was very rude. Our key never worked.Priceline should not be listing this hotel, it is simply awful in every way.
Very close to the University of Alabama as we were visiting our son and going to a football game.
Old and run down. Expensive for the accomadations but realize everyone jacks up the rates on football weekends. Could only get a 'smoking' room. All our clothes and suitcases smelled of smoke.Conveinant location to the University of Alabama. The front desk couldn't find my reservation but worked to get us a room. Strange in that I called the night before we were to arrive and they had my reservation in the system. They said because I didn't arrive by 6pm and didn't call that my reservation got cancelled. But all Priceline reservations are supposed to be 'guaranteed late check in'. Hotel is old and kind of run down. Outside room access. The smoking room we got was nasty with smoke smell but they said there were no 'non smoking' room available. No breakfast available in the morning which is fine for 1 star hotels but the rates were jacked up for the fo...
The bed was horrible! Every time that you sat on it or moved, it made loud squeaking noises and one side went down.
The location was great, easy to get to and a McDonald's across the street and a walmart right around the corner. Close to the University.
There was black mold or mildew, not sure how to tell them apart, on the baseboards and floor in my bathroom. There was also a dead cockroach in the bathroom. The locking mechanism on my door was messed up but worked.Mold and mildew in the bathroom. Dead roach on the floor. Bathroom sink missing aerator so it sprayed everywhere. Hot and cold dials were opposite. No hair dryer or shampoo. Entry door lock did not work properly but would unlock, it was just hard to do. The check in was behind bullet proof glass and the key was handed to me through a slot like I was at a gas station in a really bad neighborhood. The location was great, easy access to the university and shopping. The grass was well maintained. I would not stay here again. I did not feel safe. There was a much needed security guar...
It was close to the stadium
The facility was dirty. There wad puke stains on the bedding. The shower handle was broken. They did not have a phone or clock. The caulking around the shower was awful. This would maybe be a half star rating and that's simply based on the location. We had to sleep with sheets only our first night because the bedding was filthy. We would have called the front desk, but the room did not have a phone. The handle on the shower was broken. The room smelled musty. The caulking around the shower was gross. The pool was not clean so my child could not swim. I will never stay in another Motel 6. It was almost XXX per night so we would at least expect cleanliness snd comfortable beds. You could literally feel the springs
When I checked put and seeing it in my rear view mirror.
It was filthy, broken down, smoke-ridden in smoking and non smoking rooms. In 25 years on the road I have stayed in thousands of hotels. This would rank as probably the worst one I've ever been in. We started out badly in two very smelly smoking rooms 202 and 204. Both rooms had broken doors, broken locks, broken lights, bad TVs. The laminate on the lights and the furniture was peeling. One of the bathrooms lights didn't work at all, or you had to play with the switch to get them to come on. Once the light did come on that bathroom he blinked incessantly. Sleeping was interesting, as the sheets smelled so badly of smoke that they made out clothes smell. We wouldn't dear get into those beds without having clothes on. They were absolutely awful. I felt like I was in a Third World country. I complained, and the staff was good enough to move us to adjoining rooms the next day. We got rooms...
Location. It was at least in the city we needed ti be in.
The hotel is dated and run down. I feel sorry for the staff that hasto work there. They can only work with what their given. It's not their fault no money is spent on the upkeep.Priceline is great and I was glad to have only paid what I paid. The hotel was rundown and roach infested. I guess you'll have that in the south. But management should take proper steps with extermination to keep them at bay.
The staff were so helpful and friendly. We had a remote problem and went to the desk several times, they were always so nice, apologized for the problem, even gave us a discount on our room when we departed due to so much trouble with it. Will stay againIt was a very pleasant stay, we enjoyed it so much and if we visit again we will definitely stay back there. Very friendly, did not put up with anything loud going on outside, clean and comfortable. Nice fresh smell. Everything was great!
