Our family traveled to Tyler to attend UT-Tyler's Patriot Days. We stayed overnight in a very clean and comfortable double king room. The location is quiet with no road noise and even the AC was quiet. We enjoyed a hot, fresh breakfast bright and early the next morning.
My husband and I only stayed for one night, but we both thought that the bed was very comfortable. We were supposed to get up an hour earlier than we ended up getting up and about, but we blamed it on the comfy bed!
We didn't really know what to expect when arriving in Tyler Tx, one thing is for sure The Holiday Inn Express made it great.
The stay was nice but my only complaint is that the guest in the next room were loud till 1 am. Thin Walls!!!!
I'll definitely stay there again if I'm ever in Tyler again
We enjoyed everything about this hotel. Great breakfast every morning. The beds were very comfy & the rooms were clean. We didn't use the pool or fitness room, but I checked them out and they were nice.
I was thrilled with the hotel and it's very convenient location to dining, shopping and freeways. Very clean room with nice flat-screen tv, comfy bed, great selection for breakfast and friendly staff.
The staff was so wonderful and very accommodating. The hotel is located in a safe area and in range of many good good restraunts! I enjoyed my stay. Oh and I must mention my bed.....awesome!!!
The hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff, room and service was fantastic!
I thought the hotel was very clean and it was kept up also. The pool looked great but didn't get to enjoy it. It also had a jacuzzi to the side of the pool also very nice. Everyone was very polite and helpful. I would come back again and stay.
The hotel had been recently renovated and the facilities were very nice. Room was really nice and comfortable. Plenty of pillows, a flat panel tv with a DVD player, suprisingly enough. The pool was great, indoors with a large hot tub and a sauna that was especially nice after the 5K run that morning. It was shaping up to be a fantastic stay. However, that evening went from excellent to terrible in about 30 minutes. Just as we had the children asleep some of the other guests returned from a night club and decided to keep the party going on the balcony just outside our room. After about an hour of hearing loud voices, laughter, and banging on the wall, we decided to call the front desk. No help at all, apparently the person working the front desk was friends with the rowdy guests. It was a sleepless night to say the least. The next morning we had a talk with the Asst. GM, who offered us a free night voucher, but we've been getting the run around trying to actually get our hands on them. If I do get a free night stay, then I will give them another chance, if not, I will most likely stay somewhere else.
