Front desk was very helpful in directing me to my worksite. The food in the restaurant was excellent. My waiter for dinner was very accomodating and pleasant. I also had the breakfast buffet which was very good.

We stayed at the Hilton Scranton and Conference Center during a hurricane and it was worth every penny. It happened to be my daughter's 13th birthday and we wanted it to be special instead of sitting in our house with no electricity and worried about the storm. Upon arrival, the reception attendant was not very welcoming. However, once we checked in and had the opportunity to speak with the manager, everything was perfect. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the pool/jacuzzi was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend the Hilton Scranton to all.

The staff was friendly.

The mold in the shower. The two foot Crack in the bath tub, the split shower head that sprayed all over the wall/ceiling and rest of bathroom. Gum stains on carpet. Cob webs on ceiling, spiders.

Location is okay. The first impression of hotel is nice. With the lights low at night time it's a beautiful hotel. When you wake in the morning and the sun rises. Your eyes will be in shock at horrible this place looks.

Convenient location to where I needed to be. Room was kinda small, but amenities were all there (TV, sofa, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, hair dryer, iron, ironing board). Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows.

The desk in all rooms visited had the A/C unit blowing directly on the person's neck (BAD design flaw). Quiet room away from elevator on high floor requested and confirmed; but not originally assigned. Reassigned when asked.

Convenient, near shops and food, plenty of parking, in-house food and refreshments available. Friendly and personable staff. Will definitely go again.

Beautiful new hotel! Rooms were huge and well kept! Staff was friendly and most accommodating. BEST COFFEE EVER!

We were on the top floor in the far corner and the wifi was very spotty.

Beautiful new hotel in downtown carbondale. Convenient to highway and anything we needed was a short walk away.

Parking was a little tough. There is a parking garage but I was driving a work van, so I had to drive around the block a few times to find the ramp that went to the top level.

The staff was very accommodating, we checked in late, and they opened up the kitchen to get my wife and I some appetizers. The food is spectacular. Simple but amazing free breakfast and the dinner offerings are out of this world. Definitely fine dining at a great price. The room was dirty, stuffy and didn't smell good. There is no way to open a window and the room smelled like it was never aired out, despite the doors being kept open for rooms that aren't in use. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean, but the pillows smelled absolutely horrible. Even after wrapping a few shirts around the pillows, the smell crept through. There was also a larger spider in a web just above the bed. We didn't get much sleep. ,The room was dirty, stuffy and didn't smell good. Spacious room and bathroom / comfortable bed. This hotel looks brand new! Extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. Full hot breakfast.

Nothing. Everything was great.

This appears to be a brand new facility. The set-up of the dining room was very contemporary with comfy chairs and sofas as part of the seating. The pool and hot tub were very clean and well maintained. We were most impressed by the 'new' set up of the rooms. Kudos to designers who placed additional outlets near the bed and the desk to easily charge electronics. The arrangement of the bed on your rooms own bathroom wall is ingenious. No more noise from adjoining rooms when someone sits on the bed! Flat screen TV with cable access: Another great perk. The tile work in the bathroom was beautiful. The wooden doors are fixed with a mechanism which deters slamming. (Another hotel pet peeve.) Overall, we had a wonderful night's stay and would choose this hotel again in...

Staff was very polite and prompt in dealing with any issues.

This hotel is really, really damp. The rooms are in desperate need of some type of dehumidifier. Our floor was damp, almost slimy. As soon as you walk in the room you are hit with a wave of a musty smell. They use air fresheners to mask the issue.

This hotel was the bare bones basic. It would have been fine for what we paid if the room didn't smell and wasn't damp. We just dealt with it, as we were visiting the area for a wedding and didn't spend a lot of time in the room, but I would never stay here again. Also, there is not fitness area/room to work out.

I went to Villa Roma on a 3 day conference and stayed 4 days too many! The front desk staff was very rude and very unhelpful. The rooms varied from nice to awful. I was in the end of a timeshare (up on a hill away from the main building) and there were no amenities that were advertised on their site (coffee maker, iron, etc.). I had to ask for everything and then sat and waited for two hours, called back and the person said 'Didn't they bring that yet?' He really didn't seem to care. When I called and asked where the closest ice machine was I was told at the main building so I would have to take a shuttle just to get ice – not very convenient. One of the people I was with was drying her hair in the morning (7:00 am) and water started pouring down from the lights in the ceiling - again the staff didn’t seem to care and nothing had been done by 5 pm. After the president of our conference made a fuss at the front desk she finally got another room. The food was mediocre in the dining room ...

Firstly, during the time we were making our hotel reservations and had some questions directed to the hotel, they were either very slow in responding, did not address our questions, or did not respond at all. To me this was not a good indication of their customer service. Once we arrived, we were disappointed by the quality of the lodging and the lack of well trained and courteous staff.

Excellent front desk staff at arrival. She was just wonderful and we were so thankful.

Debbie at front desk was just superb. She fixed all our problems for us and we cannot thank her enough for what she had done for us.

A+++++ Hotel. Hope that all other hotels are like yours, Residence Inn, Scranton.

It looked like a really nice hotel in the lobby. Unfortunately, I never got to see the inside of the room that I booked and paid for because they sold it to someone else.

I dis not like the front desk staff, who decided to give my room away to someone else. Even though I showed up only 1 hour after booking my room.

Looked nice. It would have been nice to stay there instead of being downgraded with no choice.

Prices are either the average per night price per room or first night of stay. You can select to display the prices with or without our estimate of taxes & fees (which may not appear on provider's booking page but will be charged at hotel checkout). Before you complete your reservation, verify the total cost on the provider's site. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.
