Few hotels can rival the elegance, European charm and hospitality of the AAA Four Diamond rated Sutton Place Hotel. One of Vancouver's most beautiful boutique hotels, situated in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The spectacular setting, with recently renovated luxurious guestrooms, allows guests to experience exceptional service and all the needed amenities within the cosmopolitan ambience of the city set against a majestic backdrop of mountains and sea.
The hotel is centrally located in downtown Vancouver and is close to everything. The staff at the hotel, particularly those that work as the concierge, are amazing! I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Vancouver.
They charge extra for WiFi, but you can access it for free in the lobby.
Location is great for Robson st shopping and eating.
Parking and the Internet is expensive.
Great location. Great hotel.
It's in a fairly convenient location, with a pretty lobby, clean rooms and a nice pool and hot tub area. There is 24 hour room service and the food is pretty good.
They charge extra for wifi, they charge extra for using the business center (but you can ask the concierge to print and they will not charge you). I did not find the front desk to be friendly or accommodating. The double room is essentially two twin beds. The rooms are rather small.
The hotel was beautiful and luxurious, including all of the amenities. Loved the restaurant and the oyster bar. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Would definitely come back again.
Location , rooms Beds, real nice bar and Resturant!
Experience at Spa with our daughter who is undergoing Treatment was a disaster!! I picked this hotel because of the spa but her mani & pedi and the technician was aweful! She also had a massage which she did enjoy!! I bought WiFi $19.95/day didn't work! Talked to a call centre in Missiouri - said he reboot server/ still didn't work! Disappointed but the overall hotel we did enjoy- beds , rooms, etc.
The hotel was centrally located in the retail district of downtown Vancouver. I was able to walk anywhere downtown easily (Gastown, Yaletown, Stanley Park, the ferries to Granville Island, etc). There was an IGA market one block away to help avoid any honor bar charges. Also, a nice wine and beer store was next door. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and well kept.
They charge extra for wifi ($15 standard, $20 premium) which seems a little ridiculous these days. The chairs in the room looked nice but weren't very comfortable when I just wanted to sit and watch a little television. The interior was very traditional not modern in any way.
Location, view, comfort
Having to pay for wifi
$20 wifi? it's 2014!!!
Location was excellent. The concierge was very helpful. Rooms were clean and big. The restaurant is very good
Internet access should be included in all the facilities
The staff was very nice from the parking to the concierge desk
That they charge extra for the internet.
