Cà La Bricola 2 is set above Venice's famous Ristorante La Bricola, 80 metres from Saint Mark's Square. The nearest water-bus stop is Rialto, a 10-minute walk away. Wi-Fi throughout is free. La Bricola 2 offers air-conditioned and soundproofed accommodation, equipped with private bathroom with spa bath or shower. Rooms and suites feature fine fabrics and exposed wood beams on the ceiling. Breakfast is a buffet with cold cuts, cheese and fruit salad, accompanied by yoghurt and a hot drink. Venetian dishes can be sampled in the restaurant, proposing a fixed and an à la carte menu. The staff know plenty of useful tips for exploring Venice and the Lagoon.
the quitenesss, closeness to centre, friendly staff, and a lot of good restaurants very near by just away from the horrible tourist-traps
very central location, good breakfast, nicely furnished room although very small, helpful staff
breakfast only available between 8.30.and 9.30. Only by reading reviews of other guests I knew to get into the hotel through the restaurant next door as we were arriving late
Even though we were very satisifed with all aspacts of our stay, we were particularly happy with the location. Situated just three blocks from the main San Marco square right in the heart of Venice this is a perfect location to explore the city. And as a bonus, the hotel is upstairs from the excellent La Bricola restaurant. Don't miss their seafood risotto!
The room was amazing. So romantic although i was with a friend. Everything is renovated and clean. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant downstairs was also very nice and Paolo was amazing. Next to Saint Marks and the Rialto Brigde. Definitly recommend this hotel.
The hotel was a great location from St Marks. We took the address along and asked along the way and were able to quickly find it. It was a little pricier than some we looked at in other areas, but for location it was well worth it. Breakfast was simple but very good.
The room was very clean and comfortable. I was impressed by the size of the room. The bathroom also had a bathtub with jacuzzi jets.
The room did not have a phone. You were unable to call a "front desk" if you were to need assistance. I never saw the staff except when i checked in. When i did see them, they were very helpful.
With the exception of the personnel which were so root and non-communicatable (no English-you have to have Italian to communicate), the room was good and our stay was comfortable
(a)hot water was not available sometimes, (b) existing communication problems with the personnel was not good, (c) behaviour of some of the service personnel was unacceptably bad
This hotel is in a good location close to Piazza San Marco. The quality of the breakfast is quite good though there are few options (ham, cheese, bread, juice, milk, hot-chocolate, etc). The room has a good size and quite clean. We had a great staying and October is a good month to visit Venice.
No lift. It seems that hotel and restaurant share the reception staff.
Breakfast and only 2 or 3 m walking to San Marco
The room was nice and its bathroom.
It was wonderful, one of the most beautiful hotels Ive ever stayed in. The staff is wonderful & the restaraunt downstairs is to die for, great hospitality!
The room I had was a little on the small side but gorgeous!
