Located in an age-old aristocratic house of exquisite neo-gothic design, Locanda Formosa is situated on a canal which verges on the liveliest of areas, Santa Maria Formosa, one of the most characteristic places in Venice. Secluded, despite the large number of tourists, just a stroll from St. Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge, the hotel has recently opened new rooms on the second floor of the building, in Venetian modern style: parquet, Venetian typical "marmorino", wooden beam ceilings, and a marvellous view on the canals around the palace.
