Check in/out was quick and painless and any questions asked were promptly answered.
It seemed odd to me that a hotel as new as this one did not have a vent fan in the bathroom.
Having never been to Vincennes before, we were delighted with the convenience of the location, as we were there to spend time with our #3 grandson, who had just started college there. The college was about five minutes from the Holiday Inn Express! Amenities were great and the breakfast was more than adequate, as was the room furnishings.
Being older now, the only negative was the lack of safety features in the tub, as we took a shower. The single handrail was not in a helpful location (edge of the tub tile, near the showerhead end). The tub bottom safety strips were worn down so much as to not be effective at all in keeping us from slipping. When taking a shower, we turned around very slowly, so as not to slip, steadying ourselves at times by putting a hand out on the tile in the shower stall.
