They claimed that I had not paid for the room when I bid on it and had paid xxx. for it. what went wrong? I called the support people for Budget Host Inn and they claimed it had been reserved through Booking.com ????????? I will not us price line in
The woman on duty tried to be accommodating to find us a first floor room.
I do not know where to start...the outside appearance is third world country look...peeling paint, motley chairs, bikes, etc. I saw cars drive up and leave and would have done the same but the area is very busy in July and nothing else was available.To continue what I did not like, the room was okay but certainly not what you would expect from a name-brand (Budget Host). It was clean but inconveniently arranged with the lavatory outside and around a corner from the bath. The linens on the bed did not fit the king-size bed. It was overpriced for a one-star hotel, and I could not believe that it was AAA-approved and that Budget Host had actually given it plaques for something. I really cannot believe they would want their name on it. Some of the rooms were below ground level; fortunately, I did not get one of those. Oh, yes, a badly-soiled washcloth was left hanging in...

This place is a dive. It's dirty, in disrepair and scary.Do not stay at this motel. Should have been xxx a night not xxx. It's dirty and in disrepair.

Everything possible.This was a dark, dungeoness, hole. Super unfriendly family run place. When I got to my room, it smelled, had a wet spot on the floor (perhaps from a leaky roof) and was extremely outdated and unclean. I questioned the bedding, and the inch thick dust on the wall hangings was appalling. When I called down to the office, I asked for my money back because I did not feel comfortable staying. I had booked two nights, and they wouldn't even refund one. I went to the American Inn in Virginia where they were more than accommodating and even discounted me because they thought it was unfortunate that I paid full price for a place that I didn't even stay. They had friendly , helpful staff, and was extremely clean. American Inn 20 stars....this motel-condemn it.

Outside of hotel was not the same as the picture presented on hotel's website. Staff argued about what accommodation I had booked until I produced receipt showing what I had booked. Cleanliness of room was horrid.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Room felt dirty, We slept in our clothes and showered in the morning as a layer of protection against what might have been on the beds. Hotel looked like it was falling down. Parking was horrible. I expected my vehicle and boat to be vandalized by morning. Staff was not very courteous, in fact he argued about what I had booked online until I produced my copy of the confirmation. The whole experience has me wondering if I will ever use Priceline again if this is a representative of the hotels Priceline does business with.
This is both Priceline's problem and Budget Host's problem.... I am quite upset that after doing a search on Priceline for a hotel in GRAND RAPIDS, MN, I was offered Budget Host IN VIRGINIA, MN! Knowing there was a Budget Host in Grand Rapids, I assumed it was the same hotel and did not notice that NOPE, it was not until I went to check in. Lo and behold, I did not have a reservation. Then to top that frustration off, I called the Virginia Budget Host to be treated so very rudely. Priceline told me that the local hotel could choose NOT to charge me, but the 'gentleman' I talked to on the phone (using that term loosely) not only refused to not run the charge, he even refused to tell me who...

Staff was rude abd I didn't even have high expectationsBad ordor. Rude staff. Nothing more to say. Acted like they never got our resrvation and threw us out at 11pm
The room was very hot before I left the door open to air it out.It was adequate for a night's stay.
