Staff was excellent, as was location!
Although our room was non-smoking, it definitely smelled like cigarettes.
They gave you free water and cookies which was a nice gesture.
We booked a non-smoking room and the room reeked of smoke. We called the front desk to complain and said all the rooms in the hotel were nonsmoking which was funny since there was an ashtray in my room along with my daughter's room down the hall. The hotel rooms smelled of smoke. The toilet was clogged up when we got there. Had to wash everything when I returned home because of the smell. It is in a great location by Baylor, but not worth staying there again.
The hotel is in a good location, I like also the microwave and refrigerator being in the room.
I didn't like that they did not give me the king side bedroom I reserved. Neither the trash behind the dresser and the cigarette behind the night table in an non-smoking room, etc. The hotel was okay for a short term stay.
Quiet. Easy access to interstate.
Cracked paint coming off toilet seat and tub. Toilet ran on and off all night.Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly.
No-the fuse blew at 7:30 am, went to staff and reported the issue. They said that maintenance person would be in at 10 am, they did not request we move to another room or try to solve the problem. The staff and breakfast was small no fresh fruit.
The maid staff was too pushy, there are other rooms to clean, leave me alone.Checkout is at 11, do not forget that. Not that you could with the constant knocking, opening of the door, and phone call from the front desk. They acted like people were lined up outside waiting to get into the room as soon as I left.
The location was convenient. The price was fairly nice.
The non-smoking rooms were most definitely NOT non-smoking rooms. So first of all, it's only fair to say that the beds were moderately comfortable, the hotel's location was pretty convenient, and the price was pretty good. But none of this was really worth a thing.I specifically requested a non-smoking room. While the sign on the door said, 'non-smoking,' there is simply no way that this was truthful. Now, I've stayed in smoking rooms before, I've been to smoking restaurants before, and I've kept company with friends who smoke before, and all of these times I've been okay. But I have never breathed air so dense with the smell of tobacco before I stayed in this 'non-smoking' room. I actually woke up from a nap entirely unable to breath. I do not like to waste my time or other people's time complaining, but this time I felt like I had to if I was going to get any sleep. I went to the front desk ...
Large rooms, and convenient to locations We needed to go.
I was disappointed on Saturday that our bed was not made up after we left at 10AM. No new bath towels were left, nor coffee maker cleaned.
