I planned to stay in Gromada hotel for one night due to overnight plane change. It was unexpensive and marketed as close to Chopin airport but it was not. This hotel can be reached only by car or taxi since going 2 km by yourself in the heavily agglomerated area at night is impossible.
Good location clean facilities water and coffee in the room free wi-fi atm machine in lobby
internet is slow long line at check-in
The only thing about this hotel that is attractive is the location - very close to the airport, although there is NO shuttle.
Rude, patronising and sexist staff. Worst food. Horrible, uncomfortable bed. If you are looking for the relic of Communist-era Poland with all the baggage that goes with this (see above), multiplied by staff's attitude, bad condition of the building (I was placed in the old wing, even though the hotel appeared to be deserted), late taxi that receptionist forgot to call, you get the picture. I'll pay twice and go across the street. I suggest you stay away from this place until they raze it and build something more in what people expect now and get new staff that is not cursed by the past era.
Not clean at all. Rude front disk
Nice size rooms, clean, well equiped room. Very close to the airport.
Great, convenient location. Gorgeous, spacious bathroom. Comfortable bed.
Was not able to book the advertised free shuttle and had to walk (didn't want to risk getting ripped off by a taxi)...imagine a single female with stage 4 lung cancer walking alone after midnight in Warsaw...yeah, I wasn't too happy. Also pretty irritated with the fact that hotel website says "all room prices include breakfast"...but I was turned away when I tried to go in because apparently my room was the only one that doesn't come with breakfast...so I got to walk another hour to the nearest grocery store that morning.
Has the basic things needed in a hotel room. A bit spartan but very clean and comfortable. Helpful staff. Has a good restaurant. Close to airport.
Many international TV channels but none of them is in English.
Hotel is closed to the airport.
It was impossible to get taxi from the airport to Hotel. Several taxi drivers refused to drive ther inspite of bad weather . Short distance?? Doors of hotel rooms ar not protecting from the noice in corridor.
close to the airport.
old '70s building, and furniture, old worn beds, restaurant is the worst ever been in Poland.
Stress free visit.
No TV channel was in English.
Comfortable bed, good shower, close to airport
Convenience to the airport.
Poor parking and overpriced for the quality provided.
Rude wait staff in the restaurant
too much smoke in the bar
