Yes. When we arrived at the front desk at 11 p.m. on a Friday evening (after a three hour drive), the front desk clerk checked us in promptly. When I opened the door to the room, I found it was not the type of room that we had requested and paid for on booking.com. Instead of a two-bedroom suite that would accommodate our large travel party, it was one room with two beds almost touching each other. I returned to the front desk with my booking.com reservation confirmation in hand. The front-desk clerk said that she didn't have any rooms for us other than the one she provided. I pointed out that we had prepaid for the two-bedroom set-up. The clerk said she didn't care -- word for word! -- and that she couldn't do anything. I asked for the general manager's contact information and said I would call him at home if necessary. When our argument escalated, a front-desk clerk who was just starting his shift stepped in and apologized for the other clerk's behavior. I suggested that he find us another room on the property. After a nice discussion, he provided us with a second room, even though it was inconveniently located at a distance away from the other room. If it had been earlier, I would have left this hotel and checked into a Starwood property using my SPG points. My experience here was absolutely horrible.
